What is it about old school iron that has been rebuilt into art. Make grown men giggle and excited like kids in candy atore. It will be absolutely beautiful when done. Awesome job, Sir!
LOVE seeing your Son out there with you. It seems like yesterday my oldest was out working with me. Now he has his own shop here in Orygun. He graduated from a Heavy Equipment & Diesel progam three years ago as top dog and now is an INSTRUCTOR there a year ago. In school he took over my First Gen. project I never got started on: '85 D-350 long bed crew cab, fully built/rebuilt '96 12V P-pump, '03 Phord ZF-6 manual and mated manual shift NV tranfer case, '96 Phord hi-pinion Dana 60, Dodge Dana 80 rear.
That looks great man! I used to have a patriot blue jeep wrangler that I painted and seeing that color on your truck gave me goose bumps. Gosh what a nice rig!
Dang! Looking good! I think I would be finding myself driving that truck just about every chance I could. I’d feel a little guilty not driving my new one but that thing just has character!!!! Great work
Man that color reminds me of my 86. i had it painted midnight blue. I miss that truck. The only hot rod I ever owned plus it was my dad’s truck . I get sick to my stomach every time I think about how I let it get away from me.
Wow!! Sam, that looks awesome!! Great job man!! And an "at-a-boy" to Uncle Mark for helping, I'm sure that was appreciated!! That 'dangerous color' looks so good!! The 'chrome M/T's are really going to set that off nice!! I have no doubt about 1000 hours, that can be just a thankless job!! I want to send you a link to a shop I found, very nice to mint gen_2 and 3 "manual trans" trucks. Some always garaged. Some w/50k -100k miles! Nice!! Also new, super lifted $250k GM/Ford. Lots of pic's. Just thinking, I like those M/T's for my truck too! The OEM's are getting ratty. 8( --gary
Hot blond guy with a hot old truck that he restored and is so proud. Man, this makes me SUBSCRIBE! Love to see him work with his shirt off. Wonder if he's got some nice blond chest hairs and pit hairs?
This is the second round of primer and sanding. The guide coat bs is already done. What’s with the negativity “it’s not going to sema” bs at the end? 90% of ppls projects never get to see fresh paint. I’m extremely happy with how the truck turned out from what it was. Cheer up. You have anything going to sema?
@@samsonandrew7652 not being negative I think it looks good and props to all the hard work that has went into it was trying to give a few pointers and why yes I do have something that could go to SEMA I sent you a pic on your V Belt email titled 1966 Mustang
That's my DREAM TRUCK!
My grandfather had a '68 JUST LIKE it when I was a kid, the only person I knew with a crew cab back in the '70s.
That truck looks badass
Callahan growing like a weed. Time sure flies. Boon looks great.

The boy probably can’t wait for mom and dad to go out so can take it for a spin.
You should guide coat it before you wet sand it would show all your highs and lows but hey it is not going to SEMA

What brand of paint gun are you using?
Typically a respirator won’t make a good seal when you have beard full face or half face
Yeah to much moving around it kept popping the seal
