From shots of Fish Sauce to shots of White wine vinegar. How does Jack dream-up this things? Does he laugh in his sleep after he convinces somebody to be his guinea pig? Hahaha. More Jack, more. Hahaha
Nobody in their right mind would use white WINE vinegar for cleaning Plain white vinegar is for cleaning and isn't even comparable to white wine vinegar which has a higher sugar content and thus would leave surfaces sticky besides being MUCH more expensive
@@drthmik , lol, you're absolutely right! Had my moment about a half hour after posting. (You probably won't be surprised to learn that my personal culinary adventures to date have had limited involvement with either type.)
I really prefer Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay white wine vinegars, but there's also a Semillion sort from Australia they used to make at, I think Rosemont/mount(?) in the late 90s. It was excellent and not super expensive. I used to use it on everything from salads to Subway sandwiches.
Never been tempted to shotglass vinegar, but the spanish one I have isn't THAT harsh (bearing in mind it's vinegar). 1 Litre is . LaVilla from Toledo. 50c EURO ~ 0.59c USD. Tastes great on my chips. Probably around the same lattitude as Italian one. They make sparkling Cava in Spain, which is ~ champagne, but not EU area, ~1.90 Euro for 11.5% semi-dec Cabre & Sabana (Mercadona). Hoping that Portugal / Gibraltar / Anadlusia / Malta form a med Crypto-Coast... to rival El-Salvador... Eth. Cardano. Rev etc... What is White Wine Vingear used in?
having just watched this review back to back with the review of Sherry vinegar, I found a bit of a discrepancy..... ua-cam.com/video/ewq7Jvz4SMw/v-deo.html in the Sherry Vinegar clip, Jack says Napa Valley is Spanish whereas in this clip, he says it is Italian
One may use distilled white vinegar to remove hard water build-up from stainless steel sinks, etc. Just dampen a rag with the vinegar and place it upon the spot where one would like the hard water deposit removed. Leave for an hour let's say, then wipe clean.
What about rice wine vinegar? The seasoned variety has added sugar s while unseasoned does not. obviously not made with grapes but they work well and even better in certain applications than white wine vinegar.
"Champagne grapes" are Pinot Noir. They just don't sit on the skins for long (except in the case of pink Champagne which do variable lengths for different shades). And "Champagne can only be called Champagne if it is sparkling wine coming from the Champagne region of France, else it must be called "sparkling wine". And frankly, in California, we make some of the best sparkling wine in the world (but I am a flat wine drinker, usually something in the way of Bordeaux or Mertiage blend, or a Rhone blend depending on mood - for sweet, give me a Sauternes or late-harvest Riesling).
We might be the richest country in the history of the world, but that doesn't mean we have 50 national brands of everything. No country does. They could throw the national big box stores brands in the mix too, but something tells me they'd be wasting their time.
I typically use white vinegar for cleaning, but I do use it if I make sticky rice or pickled ginger. -For that, do I want my vinegar fruity or affecting the taste of the rice or ginger?
@@madthumbs1564 plain white vinegar for cleaning, is the least expensive, a a gallon is just over a dollar for store brand. Also, buy a couple of boxes of baking soda, dollar store brand is the cheapest for a box, usually .50 cents each. Remove your drain covers for sinks, laundry tub , etc... and put in appx. 1/3 box of baking soda, then pour in a cup of vinegar, will really foam up, cause you have alkaline vs. Acid, freshens your drains, cleans out soap, grease build up, after 1/2 hour run the hottest tap water you have down the drain for appx. 2 minutes, works great. DO not use in toilet bowl.
These people make such a great series. Always informative.
Do you drink white vinegar?
Yeah, but i'm not hardcore like them. I add a splash of coke.
I absolutely adore her. She always makes me laugh ❤️
Thanks for drinking vinegar so we don't have to
I wish that some of the mainstream brands would be in the mix.

He's diabolical.
Funny. I just placed an order for olive oil and balsamic vinegar from the company that makes the winning champagne vinegar.

Yo ATK! Reviews of white wine, apple cider and sherry vinegars but not the one we all use the most:

Please do a best supermarket balsamic vinegar video.
Wow!
I love taste tests and could watch them all day
😂😂 ANY1 else 🤤🤤🤤 drooling through this video. 😂😂😂😂
Poor Julia.
OMG, I got heartburn just watching her sip all those Vinegars! I actually bought an Amish Vinegar that stops Heartburn. 🙂
Thank you helps me to know what to choose for my recipies, and you are educating me.
Glad you did this, I couldn’t.😛

Taste Giuseppe Giusti White Wine vinegar and tell me what you think.
Hello! Thanks for your pain...
Thanks! Answered my question:) Brave testing:)
I just ordered vinegar today....but I ordered commercial cleaning vinegar - 40% - so I don't plan on even taking a whiff! lol.
I prefer to add sugar on my own, especially because I don't like sugar or corn syrup, I use sugar alternatives like monk fruit or erythritol.
love these these videos, thanks

The cheap and terrible white wine vinegars are perfect cheap and non toxic kettle descalers! That is what I buy them for.

I think that you all needed a bigger pool of product to sample from.
The article says they sampled 8 national brands based on some sort of market data.

Who wants some vingengar?? Vingengar everybody!
Both my boss and my daughter drink pickle juice and vinegar straight.
Not like a glass of course, but several sips at a time .
On white wine vingar the best is the cheapest i can find, store brand , dollar store brand, whatever, i can't tell any difference in any of them
I bought mine at Aldi. I am looking for acidity, I never evaluated vinegar in terms of its "fruitiness" because I wouldn't even know how to do that.

Trader Joe's has the best.
I felt sorry for Julia. I thought she was going to choke on the first vinegar she tried.
Enjoyed the MILK street guy, but this woman is totally enjoyable too watch as well!🙂👍
Hilarious!
My brain misread this as "Which distilled white vinegar is best?" which would be the silliest video you've ever published ;)
You gave us the price $4.19. But you didn't tell us how many ounces.
12.7 fl. oz. 3:50
