Thank you for this pattern! I know it’s after Easter for most people but as an Orthodox Christian, we are still in the middle of lent and so I am prepping Pascha (Easter) gifts for friends! I tried messing around with row 15 and the closure since I wasn’t happy with how mine were turning out and what I ended up doing was *st2tog skip1 repeat (4 times total) slst. Sorry, I know that’s not the best notation, I am still learning to read patterns. Just wanted to throw this out there! I thought it turned out a lot cleaner without having to fuss with the yarn so much, and I didn’t notice any big gaps from the skipping. I hope this is useful!

Instead of using polyfil, I like to use small plastic Easter eggs and put in some dried beans or popcorn kernels so the grandkids can shake them.

I remember this project from before. The eggs are fun to make. Thanks for the reminder. I have so much small amounts of yarn that sometimes I use the yarn on gifts. Keep up the great videos! I sure miss you on Patreon.

I would like to make two halves and sew them partly together leaving an opening to put a prize in. Tie closed with little ribbon. Thank you!

That Bernat cotton yarn, Westway, there’s brand I Love This Cotton that has a similar color skein , if Bernat doesn’t provide that color skein anymore ☺️.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but another better invisible decrease would be to insert your hook into the next two FLO before yarning over and pulling through both front loops, then yarn over and pull through to complete the stitch. It looks just like a single crochet.

Not sure if I'd call it "better," :) but that's the way I default to decreasing too, out of habit.
