virgin ground break part was a nice touch. looks like I need to make a plot for this fall deer season.

I appreciate the solid information and demonstrations. I am buying the chisel plow and the Kunz cultipacker. I have used a flip disc in the past, but it can take a dozen passes to prep the soil.

@jeremymmorris where the ground wasn't broken yet it just did fair. I added about 100# and it clogged frequently on sod, leaves, and occasional roots. I had to take the middle chisels off like he said in the video. Where the ground had been broken the previous year it did pretty well. We seeded and drug it, but found it took hold better with a roller than the drag.

I use a two shank chisel plow with my 60 HP Massey. I don't have any trouble but you need the HP when your tearing up ground. 4 or 5 shanks are going to destroy your ATV especially if you don't have a big bore Machine. I would like to see how your ATV is holding up in a couple years! Maybe I will be surprised.

I bought a house with some acreage that has been ignored for years. Trying to restore the large yard area to level ground so I don't continue to liquify my insides every time I mow it. Right now it is full of bumps, holes, and little valleys. I know a box blade on a 40 hp tractor is probably the best way to accomplish this. However, I only have a Pioneer 700 SXS. Do you think if I got this with the harrow accessory I could use it to level out the yard?

I wasn't all that impressed with how it did on virgin ground. A garden tractor with a moldboard plow would do a better job. However, who is going to drive a garden tractor out to who knows where for a food plot? For your particular application, I can see it doing what you need it to do but that virgin ground would definitely benefit from a few more passes. Thanks for the video!
