Thanks! It's a uncommon bike to see around that's for sure but I'm a fan of it. I just wish aftermarket parts didn't cost so much compared to more common bikes.
Thanks for the very nice video. I installed these on my Suzuki SV650. I noticed that the shaft is slightly thinner than the OEM shaft. Was this the case also for your Aprilia? I am a little concerned about the stability of the engine mount if there is extra play/vibration. As to the torque, i did what you did and used manufacturer specifications but Evotech should provide torque numbers for their bolts. I will remove these after some riding and will check for wear and tear where the rod meets the frame.
I’ve just got some of these crash bobbins for my 2020 Suzuki SV650. I contacted Evotech who insisted 55NM torque was enough (baring in mind their instructions say use manufacturers specs) and also Suzuki GB who in a roundabout way told me 93NM. Evotech didn’t give me a reason as to why their figure was the right one (though I’d always go for the bike manufacturers specs). Sadly this has given me enough doubt to be making the decision to return the product. Shame as they look really well designed and made, just the lack of clarity in installation let’s it down.
@@jonnywishbone571 Sorry to hear. I used Suzuki specs for this (93NM) as also recommended by others. At least you got a response from Evotech. I did not when inquiring about the smaller diameter of the shaft.
Thanks for this post and your experience as I'm also looking at these for my sv650 3rd gen and wondering what gen is yours and did they ever give you and answer
@@hachi-rokuperformancegroup3987 Mine is a 2019. I did not get a response for my written inquiry. When i called them i was just told that they never had a problem. I will still do what i said above, which is to check these after some riding for possible wear and tear where the rod meets the frame. They appear to be well made otherwise. Best of luck.
Well, a friend of mine that works at a Yamaha dealership told me that these Evotech sliders came out pretty good, after a car-crashed MT-03 arrived and the sliders took most of the damage on the side. They are huge but i've seen other sliders bend and according to my friend, these ones don't. Cheerz
Keep up these videos man! I really enjoy these since quality videos about the Shiver 750 are pretty rare! Definently earned a sub!

Yeah that are pretty large compared to some others but glad to know they do what they are designed for!
Love the Ape.
Great video - thanks.
Hey man,
What mirrors and weights you got on your handle bar? :)
Mirrors were cheap eBay models but the bar end weights where from Rhino Moto
Zakary can we get video how to remove aprilia shiver front sprocket cover 🙏🙏
Sorry I just sold it, searching for my next bike!
Did you test it though? :)
Nope, luckily I didn't have to test them and I'd like to keep it that way haha
Hey man, can you help me to get this sliders?
They are linked in the description, I don't have any affiliation with the company, I bought these with my own money from their site.
HI. what brand are the mirrors?
