Absolutely the best cover of any cover EVER! The words, her voice, the guitar, the accoustic spanish, the bass, the drums! ITis ALL COOL beyond belief! Have it on REPEAT till even the cats object..

@@annmarielong4029I hope she is ok and doing well. It's a bit weird that such a great talent with a lot of musical connections just disappears and never contacts any of them again.
Simply the best version of one of the best songs ever written. I once referred it onto a friend who was struggling and she later said it saved her life. Wow!
I have put this on repeat numerous times and just listen over and over. I can't get enough of it. It really speaks to me. I love the singer, the musicians, and the song. Thank you all.
One of the most beautiful songs ever. Heard recently that Dylan should be recognized as the best at what he does in the history of the world. Think about it
How lovely she is, and how beautifully she sings ... She pulls off one of the best Dylan covers ever. Sure, it's a shame she's no longer active in music, but what matters is she once was, and this performance alone made it all worthwhile. Brings a tear every time ...
I seen her in the cork opera house in 1994, it felt like i had been invited into her kitchen for a sing song. Sinead I loved that concert, it had such a homely feel to it and of course the video gives some idea how brillant the concert was. Come back soon, your are missed.
I don't know if this girl was even born when this brilliant song was written, but it sounds as if it was written for her. Still causes a chill down my spine and i don't know how many times i've heard it.
This is the best cover of a Dylan song ever. I had confirmation of that when I asked my friend Mike Harding to play it on his internet podcast and Donal Lundy,on this video agreed.
My very favorite song ..I listen to it quite often ..this chick is so beautiful and beautiful voice listen close you can pick up on the Irish lilt ...she imo was underrated in the U.S. and she went out of the line light to quickly ..she does a bob Dylan ding called To Ramona ...and she absolutely owns it with her version...check her out this song here one needs to listen to it a couple times in a peaceful n romantic place n frame of mind ...sweet dreams sinead n my friends...peace ...
I’ve been listening to this a lot lately. I never knew it was Bob Dylan track until recently too. It’s such a beautiful song. Lyrically Bob wrote it but she really brought the meaning of it to life. Also, I seemed to always hear it when I was in the car and my whole brain would just check out from reality.. I love this song so much & she made it perfect. 🎶🖤
The meaning was already in the song written by Dylan, it doesn't need to be brought to life by a cover singer. People don't care to listen to Dylan that's it. Good cover BTW.
I simply find this song 'eternally young', even at 20 years of age. Sinead was (and probably is) a stunning talent with a truly unique vocal quality that made her immediately vocally unbeatable and so esy in expressing her talent. (Anything with the name Donal Lunny attached, immediately bears listening to).
I heard this riveting song first on Terry Wogans early morning radio show and just had to look it up. Sorry to hear that Sinead no longer works in music but she’s achieved with just this one recording a timeless piece that cannot be bettered or equaled. God bless and keep you always, wherever you are.
28 dislikes, tell me their addresses somebody and let me write to them and tell the just how wrong they are! Sinead has one of the most beautiful voices EVER!
Sinead Lohan is simply spectacular in this video; subtle with her inflections, and powerful with simplicity. Can it be we will never see or hear from her again? I can only hope we will. She is truly a treasure to behold!
Sinead I’m truly blowed away with your beautiful angelic singing voice. Could listen to your sound forever. Good health and the best of luck in your life.
I heard this song for the 1st time the day before yesterday when a friend of mine sent me the link. I had never heard any version of the song before, not to mind this masterpiece, can hardly believe I never came across it before, but so glad I did.
+kpbirdie Nice song but not a nice to first hear such a beautiful voice. Whiston Hosptal Merseyside England. Best listening to it in a more relaxing and comfortabe area. Must say the staff were all amazing.thanks for your interest.
Maybe you're a Dylan fan and might follow a link to this or maybe find it accidentally and you will listen to it once or twice and think to yourself "that's quite good". Then it will pop into your head at some random time and you'll give it another listen. But one evening after a couple of drinks you'll listen again…..and again …and again... forever This is the definitive Dylan cover, Sinead's voice, the lyrics, the delivery, the consumate musicianship, everything comes together perfectly. Thank you Sinead and band. Magical.
This song, sung by Sinéad, helped me to step out of my emotional cold turkey after my former girl friend stepped out of my life. I kept on listening to it until there were no more tears... Thanks Sinéad for giving us songs like this, I do hope you'll ever find the ways in your life to do more recordings.
She is just phenomenal she speaks the gospel to me whatever mood I'm in her mother and my aunt were Great friends but I never got to meet her and she grew up ten minutes from me hope she makes a comeback .!
I keep replaying this song. The poetry of it is brutalising. Dylan's finest monolgue to a woman friend Ramona who is so disburbed at events and driven to despair to consider leaving the scene. Dylan tries to dissuades her. Beautifully written song with a superlative melody. Made in heaven. They have said that when Dylan took up guitar the world lost a great storywriter. Too true ..
I remember seeing her in the cork opera house supporting Paul Brady. I felt like I was in her kitchen at home. So lovely so beautiful so homely. Sinead time to come back and amaze us.
In this clip we are caressed with wave after wonderful wave of beautifully sensual expression exemplifying the potential of honey sweet vocal delivery of a classic Dylan lyric. How simply beautiful this combination is.
She sings this so well that when i first heard it on the radio i thought it was her own song until i discovered it was bob dylan's. Fantastic performances from both. Memories of driving with this blasting!
Just beautiful. I know that I'm being biast as I'm Irish but where do get all these world class singers? We just keep producing them, year after year from a small pool. Very proud.
with a voice like that is something we all wish for ,her inner soul just coming through total relaxing ,how beautiful and wow Bob Dylan one of the greatest lyricits of all time
Listening to Sinéad's beautiful interpretation of To Ramona is something of a bittersweet pleasure for me. The lyrics evoke a time and place that only exist in memory now, as perhaps they should. Still, it brings a tear my eye.
In 1996 I was a baby at 36. Never heard this until John Creedon played it one day about 4-5 years ago. Absolute ... only way to describe it. What a voice. What a beautiful lady. Eyes a bit sad. Up Cork and that's coming from a Kerryman. Accompanying musicians excellent.
Simply one of Dylan’s best intuitive lyrics. Some phrases are stunning, poetic, and devastating. This cover is one of the best. And Dylan wrote it when he was a young pup!
I guess the greatness of a song is that every line be necessary, not just filled in to get a rhyme. This song may have only one line that's superfluous and that's amazing, and that's true poetry in that the lines are so evocative, so deep in explanatory power. I love 'worthless foam from the mouth', which depicts our lives, but honestly it's just one deep line in a song created from them.
Very beautifully sung. The emotions almost like that of Bob Dylan's. She will go places with this kind of sing. She has even prompted me to learn this song.. All the best to Sinéad.
I can't stop listening to this. I love the Dylan version, including the one from Newport '64, but this stands on its own. She does this thing that opera singers do, where suddenly the volume / intensity goes up to amazing levels and depths...
Ah.. Sinead!!! I didn't know she didn't write it... She has a reputation as a brilliant songwriter, I thought it was one of hers. My bad. Thank you. In fact, I'm gonna dedicate this to a 'friend' of mine, who will shortly visit this page.

Sineads voice is so pure, and rich. I've listened to this song numerous times over the years and am still doing it in 2024. Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪 💚

Absolutely spot on boy...one of the best,if not THE best, covers of Dylan's work. Her voice is angelic
