He didn't just get any guitar. The guitar only exists 3 times in the world and is a rare collector's item even without its history. And the history of the guitar makes it even rarer as it was first heard by Simon Jones (Verve) and then passed it on to Ren. The guitar is one of the most expensive guitars on earth.

I discovered this Gem after listening to Hi Ren. I went back 7-8 years on his music discography. I missed out on some of the most incredible music! Ren is an Alien from another dimension.

I agree with you about the simplicity. It means you can focus on the message and the song, not the video. With this one, Ren has captured the absolute essence of modern day, working class, down to Earth Britain. Ren loves it. We love it. I grew up in a similar environment to Ren, and have moved away to a "nicer" town. But I do miss the old, grungy home town vibes that Ren portrays here.
This reminds me of if Dylan’s subterranean homesick blues (the rap one) were British and more from the side of heart and hope. It’s a pretty intense social commentary that remains in the end a love letter to Brighton and England.

To anyone who does not live in the U.K. What Ren is describing is pretty normal U.K. life in most towns/cities I’ve been too. This was shot in Brighton so the visuals added to it for me (lived in Brighton as a student and later in my twenties).
