Great news about Ronnie he’s a credit to the fleet Ben👌A lot of us watch the channel for you so would definitely still tune in to the review videos, I think if it’s something you think you could enjoy making a video on then go for it 👍
All these recovery vehicles without MOTS get caught out on DVSA check points!😮 Great to see Ronnie with a good solid pass & Inspector been correct on your tacho😊
Respect to you for not selling out and doing review videos (at least since I have been subscribing) I always think such advertising videos are insincere by most UA-camrs. I respect those who don't do them.
My wife Angela was dead chuffed to hear your kind words Ben . She nearly came close to crying again. I’m taking good care of her and I will make sure I buy plenty of chicken soup from Sainsburys lol . Great to see Ronnie did you proud. Keep on trucking and stay safe out there.
Long time viewer first time commenter... You can check MOT status of HGV by searching vehicle MOT history, this will also show advisories that we're recorded by the examiner. Also the same for cars/vans etc. If you have the logbook number you can also see where tests on non hgvs were done. This goes back to 2018 if I remember correctly. On the same site you can check for recalls on the vehicle you are searching for Love the videos, always uplifting. Keep it up 🤙
Get in! Knew Ronnie wouldn’t let you down, nice drink of Redex for him he deserves it. So pleased the Cavalier has gone to a good home. Looking forward more Transit videos
You might think this is mad crazy.Anyone watching . i live in manchester when i was a kid in 1977 i was 7 years old my mum put me on a bus in manchester with a sandwich and an apple and a drink to grantham i had to change at nottingham at 1 pm the bus conductor had a hat and spoke English or the Train gaurd .Then when i arrived in grantham at 5 pm i walked down to my grans house ,and stayed 3 weeks Then did it back again .I wont even send my kids to the shop after 8pm nowdays .
The first time I took my own 7.5 tonner for an MOT it failed. I had replaced the manky side marker lights with some fancy LED ones and I quite fancied some of that wide relective tape which I applied down the full length of the body. The reason they failed it was because there were no reflectors on the side - the old marker lights had reflectors incorporated. But what about the relective tape? No good as it has to be separate reflectors! 😳 I my opinion the reflective tape is far more visible than any individual reflectors!
I had a truck fail because the rear spray suppression mount had saged slightly and you could see 1/4 inch of tyre outside the spray suppression. Gutted. 2 videos a week would be awesome 😎 great video as always. Have a great weekend mate. 👊😘
@@Fighting_Torque I had noticed. Your a legend mate. Thank you so much for that. I new it was there so wasn't really an issue, but I'll certainly take it 🤣I've got some more if you want them👍

I was never that interested in the products that you reviewed and there are so many on UA-cam that do this now and some I no longer follow because of it; they have morphed into Influencers who are two a penny nowadays. Having said that I did purchase a 'TopDon' jump starter after seeing your review, but don't tell anyone. I do enjoy your videos and please keep up the good work.
Hey, you have the platform so take advantage of it especially if they want you to review something you like or want, as long as we still get our usual videos I'm sure an extra one or an extended one won't hurt us. And well done Ronnie.
I remember the state of some recoveries when the exemption was a thing, it was terrifying, rolling scrap metal turning up to load up a breakdown. I cant remember what year they got rid of it but it must be nearly 20 years ago now.
@@Fighting_Torque crikey, I thought it was way longer ago than that, definitely seems like longer. I remember van mounted cherry pickers used to have the same excemption.... some of them were really really scary.
Well Done Ronnie! Only review things that matter to you in your life and be honest (brutally) like Casey La Delle on his Cascade Heavy Rescue channel in the USA
Well done on the MOT Pass. You mentioned about advisory’s. I’m led to believe that with commercial MOT. You don’t get any advisory’s, you either pass or fail.

@SleafordRecovery the ones I install let's you put stripping and diamond patterns in the grass and they are working on getting them to right word in the grass lol
Why don’t you do separate videos, so you do your main vlog then do the reviews away from the main vlog. I know it’s a bit of extra work, but it could bring you some extra income for your channel. That way if people don’t want to watch the reviews they don’t have to and if the views don’t show it’s worth it then you can bin them! But you don’t know until you try and I often do a UA-cam search on stuff I’m buying. If you want a chat about doing the reviews etc. you know I’m just round the corner from you I can pop in and have a chat.
@@Fighting_Torque we did it on our other channel for 5 years, did the main content then the advertising features separate, that way you don’t sell yourself out for sponsors and you can make decent money if they give you a discount code.
That wasn't the test pass certificate, only the brake test readout, they stopped giving pass certificates at the end of April 2024. However if it had failed you would have been given a paper test refusal certificate. Analogue tachographs are required to have a calibration every two years with a full calibration every six years. Windsreens should be kept clear at all times not cluttered up with flags, what are you, recovery or a mobile gala?🤣
I'm happy for you Ronnie passed but realistically don't you think he should seeing as you're in that trade besides it would have more embarrassing if he didn't.
