He is a narcissist and she is falling for his manipulation! There is lots more to that kind of a relationship and how conniving they can be. It’s not easy especially with children. She could have stayed for many reasons, he may be financially abusing her so she can’t leave.

Breathing techniques etc. is why I actually do prefer Sisco over the lie detector tests. Some criminals and terrorists are trained to beat those tests. There are some people who actually believe their lies or feel overly confident that what they're doing is right so they beat the tests too. Nervous people can't get a fair shake either. I had a teacher get hooked up to one and she failed saying her name and address because she was nervous after being hooked up. Failing question after question - lol.
