1982 komponierten Uli Roever und Michael Korb gemeinsam die Melodie "Highland Cathedral".
Im Studio von Uli Roever in Berlin-Kladow wurde die hier zu hörende Aufnahme arrangiert und produziert. Michael Korb interpretierte die Komposition auch auf dem Dudelsack. Diese Aufnahme wurde als Single-Schallplatte veröffentlicht.
Erst im Laufe der Zeit fand die immer beliebter werdende Komposition den Weg in die Herzen der Menschen auf der ganzen Welt und gehört inzwischen zu den populärsten Dudelsack-Melodien.
