    Ironic many claim many farms and farmers did well during the Great Depression. That’s a broadstroke false assumption. There were more than several which didn’t.

    One day you're working hard to make a living, the next day you're working even harder just to survive.
    Going from having a job, a roof, and food on the table, to being subject to whatever the elements presented in terms of weather, and always wondering if you be able to feed your children.

      Exactly! Some of these farmers were pretty prosperous at one time. Shows how much we are not in control.
