Really late to your question, but it's a pager for the alarm. So if the alarm goes off the pager goes berserk. That way you can know someone is messing with the bike if you are too far to hear the siren, like an apartment complex.
Well I have the same set up. For me it’s peace of mind. 1/2 mile radius so if a person gets to take my bike it will vibe and emit a sound to let me know my bike is being messed with.
I have that pager so thanks for the info. You do very complete instructions so I am asking if you know of the problem of the newer Harley touring motorcycles having a issue with the front plug wire rubbing the tank and how to stop it from wearing through the wire. This would make a very helpful video. Thanks again.
+Andy Kendrick I didn't know about the problem, but I heard online that the fix is real simple. All you do is carefully put a slight bend in the spark plug boot and the spark plug wire will not longer touch and rub against the gas tank, I assume the bend is toward the center line of the motorcycle that runs parallel with its length. If your bike is under warranty and you have a worn mark in the spark plug wire, than Harley Davidson will replace it free of charge. Have you tried any fixes for this problem on your own motorcycle?
How long does the pager stay connected to the bike alarm? if I'm away from the bike for an hour or two, will it still be connected so that the alarm will go off on the pager?
As long as it's in range and has power it'll go off. The "receiving" light will only blink for an hour till it stops to save battery, but it is still active. 3 years too late I know but I just found the video.
Just saw your video now. Great info and very well done without all the BS👍🏼 Thank you 🙏
I wish Harley would put the pager feature in the key fob.
Excellent tutorial video .
Just wondering what is the point of the pager if your key fob turns the siren off? What does it add i guess is what im asking?

About an hour the range confirmation light shuts off to conserve the battery but pager is still alarmed and synced to your bike.

I don't know, sometimes I think technology sets us back. But you have a good tip. Thanks.
+wyattoneable Thanks for watching!
I used a small length of black fuel line to cover worn spot and zip tied to hold in place.
If my RCS is not flashing ?
Thanks bro
Thanks, very helpful.

I wanted to use the pager for an all night thing while I sleep but it will lose signal by the time I wake up ! Bullshit..
