I have this wood color in my Vilano and after two years, we still love it. It's a high end solid wood product that's very durable. I'm a big fan of seeing the wood grain and not painting over it or obscuring it with dark stain. To each, his own! Also, we couldn't be happier with our VanLeigh Product!
Replacing a couch with the desk of your choice is a simple and inexpensive thing. You sound like my ex-wife who hated a house we were looking at because she didn’t like the room colors. Paint is cheap. 😎
@@Erin-Thor I don't think you understand. Sure you COULD do it, but these are designed to be buy and go. When your paying this much, it's at least expected to be an option. The fact that it's not is silly.
Every single one I look at, that is exactly what I am looking to do or have done. I’m looking at toy haulers just because it’s an extra “room”’ that can become the office.
This floorplan is so amazing! I absolutely love that wood!!! Do not change that wood please I am reaching for my checkbook right now!! I wish. Really an amazing home on wheels.
I liked this RV with the exception of the bathroom. One of the sinks of the dual vanity was too close to the toilet. It looked like there was barely any room to stand by the sink.
Not crazy about that color of the wood but I could live with it! The wife likes the color of the wood. The room for storage is unbelievable! Like the bed being lower.
I'm liking the VanLeigh product more and more. Water pump location hits home with me. I just had to locate then tear mine apart as it was backfilling the fresh water tank to overflow when hooked to city water.
I personally like the wood color. Of course, I like all the wood colors in the Van Leighs. They are my favorite 5th wheels. Love the videos, keep em coming!
Really nice rig JD. The mixed colors are a smidgen odd but I could live with it. Great storage but the bathroom stool looks a little cramped. Absolutely love where the water pump is located! My experience with pump replacements is the things are either in the bottom of a cabinet or buried behind a panel amongst a nightmare of plumbing/wiring. Usually requires emptying the cabinet or unloading the storage area and removing 40-50 fasteners to access it. Really nice feature.
Good-looking Frameless Windows. Great start. Cool Breakfast Bar in the Kitchen, directed right at the T.V. Love the Soft Close. Nice Bathroom too. Overall, I liked it a lot. Thanks, take it easy.
I like the wood color. I always prefer lighter color wood as compared to darker. That is why they have different choices. Now the thing that stops me is the price, I can’t afford it!!
I Love, Love Your channel, Ok I like the two different colors and the wood, I own a class A, an older Country Coach it has Oak throughout (very dark) we painted it white, It was so cave like. This has just enough wood to give it some warmth.
Appears to be a huge TV in the main living area. Seems so close to the chesterfield, makes me wonder if you can see it? I love the color scheme. Very cottage-like.
I like the interior color scheme, darker wood is nice too, but the ligher wood makes it seem more well lite inside. Overall, I am impressed. I really like the price too.
I like the color of the wood. I also like the lower bed. I would like for you to open the fridge and oven when you do these videos. Trying to gauge the size and actual capacity. Thanks,
That is a beautiful rig. Love the shiplap. XLNT idea! I am not a fan of the color of wood either, but the contrast of the paint and wood color, it does look rich. I think that would look GREAT in our Easter basket!! GREAT JOB!!! 🐇🐇
You cannot go wrong with Vanleigh. I don't particularly like the color scheme of this unit but the good news is Vanleigh gives 4 or 5 different color schemes for this model. Great layout!
The lay out is great. Im looking to make a tiny house and this is a layout I would copy. Im also buying a RV for when I start the construction process and for later camping. I just don't like how dated this looks with the wood. The colors could be fixed. Other than that. Beautiful.
I prefer the lighter wood color. It is more traditional, but lighter colors make spaces seem larger. Plus the added benefit of not requiring tremendous amounts of lightning to make the interior well lit at night. Our older travel trailer has lighter colored cabinetry throughout and we love it. The lighter colors seem to be making a comeback in a lot of RVs.
Do any oof these units you show come with a dishwasher? A dishwasher is a must to me plus I like the light wood and interiors colors that way you can decorate with any colors and type of decor you want where with the dark woods that is not always the case.
I like the wood and the warm color. I'm not a fan of the colors in the Beacon you have. It's great that Van Leigh has more than one style to choose from. Thanks for another great tour.
I don’t mind the wood! It feels homey!! 120,000 USD compare to CDN yikes.. seems a little small for the price point once converted. Still pretty tho!! Come on lottery!
IMHO you either pay up front for quality, or later in repairs. The little things like walking and padding (carpet) on the rear storage areas, which helps with sound deadening. Other similar designs with different brands, that’s all open with exposed aluminum studs with sharp edges. Seems like nothing until you have a hand cut or something like a large table umbrella get cut up while driving. If the new price seems high, buy used. I would MUCH rather have a quality unit a few years old than cheaper new unit. 😎
I tend to like all wood colors. Stained, naked, or painted. All are fine by me as long as it all works and looks good in the space its in and works with the other colors in that particular area or space.
We have a beautiful Vilano, 2018 with a beautiful dark woodwork. Would love to have our entertainment unit below TV. Only thing we are dealing with is the furniture, ours is pealing, wish VanLeigh could help us out upgrading to Franklin Furniture. We live in ours full-time. The theater seating has never been usable. Otherwise, we love it. Soft ceiling, three air conditioners. Samsung fridge which has a few issues. We are retired and with inflation, we're really in a bind. I have to sleep elevated and am waiting for the day we can replace the theater seating. VanLeigh has been very helpful with "everyday" issues that pop up. We've had some but VL has always been helpful.
I wish they would change up the colors more, it might tone down the wood some. And I was wondering if the freezer hits the island, like with the cabinet/refrigerator in the Beacon?
We looked at a Luxe in Mansfield Texas and a Vilano in Fort Worth . I think the Vilano is way better for the money. We were deciding if we were going to pull the trigger on a Vilano when we lucked into a gently used 2011 DRV from a private seller. Beautiful 5th wheel. Saved alot of money. However I still love the Vanleigh line of 5th wheels.
We really enjoy our 2018 Vilano 375FL. Our wood color is the same as this, It's not my favorite but I think it looks good. I just wish ours had more outside storage. Other than that it's a great unit.
While I love the color of the wood, it doesn’t go with anything else in the RV. It doesn’t blend with the floor, the furniture or the linen colored walls. It seems like they couldn’t decide or it was the leftovers from other jobs. I would like the eat at counter in the kitchen if it is table height, not if it requires the higher bar or bistro stools.
Those are pretty nice. The dealership I worked at sold those and Vanleigh is a pretty company to work with from a warranty standpoint. I think they're in Georgia. The wood work and lighting is really cool. Some of the crown molding can be a little jenky.
Maybe with the pandemic they found an old storage warehouse from the 70’s that had a bunch of new old stock cabinets. Or maybe recycling some old Montana’s.
Completely disagree with how a stain shade can date anything. Literally all stain tones have been around forever and so many other factors determine a period of time more than golden or honey tones in woodwork. It's not the color that dates a decor as much as the style of woodwork and cabinet hardware used that do this more than anything else. Taste is subjective which is why manufacturers provide options and that's a good thing. I'm certain this model is offered in a multitude of interior finishes.
LOL! All y’all are so cold! While kinda true, they offer decor changes or choices usually with every line. I don’t like the grey cabinetry that seems to be the current style, while I’d prefer a darker stain, or even a redwood-ish color over this honey-gold (wife says honey-old) stain, this looks better than grey. LOL!
No love for the honey/golden tone woodwork?! 🤣😂 Coming from a state where that's a pretty common wood tone in our victorians I have always loved it. It's a perfect example of how individual tastes differ so manufacturers really need to have options and allow for individual customisations. I also really like dark wood tones, and since each shade of stain creates a different atmosphere that sets the entire mood of a home it shows how important a role wood tones play (unless you plan to invest the time, labor and money involved to change it down the line) in your overall purchasing decision. That honey/golden tone does come across as more traditional, I agree, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. For me, it would give me a sense of nostalgia for my home when I'm traveling on the road. Depending on how you feel about home that might be a bad thing, for me it's the opposite. Thank you for showing another model of Vanleigh, I appreciate it. Beautiful unit.
I think there is a geographic element to it, here in the Pacific Northwest homes with warm wood tones like that represent high quality traditional craftsmanship with local materials like Douglas Fir while neutral white and grey tones are for soulless, sterile "modern" mass produced houses. The Beacon models with this stain color look stunning, they also make darker wood tones but they are just so depressing and make me feel claustrophobic.
Don’t like the stain color either. Would have looked better with a dark stain up against the light colored farmhouse style accents. I think the couches would be prettier using a different color too. Love the pullout basement storage drawers! Thank you for all the info you provide on this channel!
How come you never mention wall thickness. I would like to know side walls. Three inches thick .two inches. In buying a new rv I am interested. Thank you
Love the interior , but what I dont understand is why at the entertainment center they dont have an area to put your satellite receiver , a lot of manufacturers miss out with this , a lot of RVers use a dish, perhaps you could let them know that a lot of us look for that , also another problem is where near the bed you could put a CPAP machine ?
loved the unit I would make the family room bigger, love the kitchen but I would make the kitchen island bigger and put more seating around the island, I would improve the outside area by adding a outdoor kitchen

Agreed, they should give customers a choice still bc I love grain wood or the dark woods. 👍
I like the wood and the color it is, to me it gives it a touch of a cabin feel.
My thoughts exactly. And I love the rear kitchen. I must prefer the entry into the coach being in the living area.
I love the color combination. It makes it feel like a log cabin.
Love the light woodwork. Looks like the color of my living room floor.
RV manufactures would sell many more of these mid LR units if one couch was a desk setup.
The kitchen bar setup could work as a desk in this unit. It's pretty great

I like the woodwork!
We own the Vanleigh Vilano in this wood color. We LOVE everything about this RV!!
Us too! 2019 375 FL.
LOVE the blonde wood! It really lightens up the RV! I’d love to know the sale price!
I agree with first comment. One of the love seats needs to be a desk area.
Minus the colours its really nice 👌

I like the light maple wood tone in combo with the brown sofas and white farmhouse. Gives more color in RV. Cheers up the place
I like the traditional wood tone. I'd like a blonde shade even better.
Love this color!!! If you are in it for awhile, you appreciate lighter wood. It feels much more spacious.
This interior color reminds me of the campers back in the 2000's. But I will say they make it look a lot better than it did back then.

the wood makes it feel homie in my opinion
I love the color of the wood work! Is this unit a four season-able possibility? Will a 3/4 ton diesel haul this safely?
Big negative on the 3/4 ton, pin weight will be nearly 4k pounds, this one isn't even really 1 ton single rear wheel, this is dually territory.
I think vanleigh should make a travel trailer to compete with the rockwood.
Supposedly this is something in their future product plans.
They have the Pinecrest line now that is closer to the Grand Design / Rockwood level.
