Let’s make art literally changed my life. I didn’t know i was a painter until i used them. Now i paint commissions a year and a half later. It is FANTASTIC especially for starting out or if you need an extra confidence boost in your work. Sarah has such a talent for teaching someone how to turn out a masterpiece. I found palletful, sketchbox and ArtSnacks are my go tos but I never would’ve known I could paint without let’s make art. We adore the company, their watercolor, journals and kids boxes are amazing. I do more of my own stuff now. Let’s make art is a very special company and we used all three kits for about 20 months. My daughter wanted to switch to palletful as she felt she was ready to start making her own projects too and their young artist box is amazing. Thanks for the video!! I found scrawler and sketch box are about the same thing. If you’re US based, go for sketchbox if you’re in the UK or European countries, go for scrawler box

I don't get anything for telling you this either but..... Sarah at Let's Make Art is such a wonderful person, she makes painting so much fun and I think if you knew nothing about it at all you could follow her instruction. But seriously, she's just a great , inspiring person who makes you feel like you can absolutely do all the projects. I used to get her boxes back when they first started and the paints came in cute little fabric bags, still have them too. Now I get Scrawl r box but they cost more than I thought they would, 35.00 for the last one and customs can't seem to be gentle every time. There is another box you might want to try, from Germany, I really liked called Art Crate or something like that. I cancelled it cuz I just couldn't afford 2 anymore and their shipping was litterally shipping hahaha they came by ship and you just never knew when you were going to get your box, well, me anyways. I loved the variety of stuff they sent though, really fun stuff.
This was a great video, it really helped me make up my mind about changing subscriptions or not, sort of, I think, maybe, ok, not really. Darn! Oh well. Maybe I'll just close my eyes and randomly pick stuff at Jerry's and call it a art box hahaha Have a great day y'all

I have been looking at getting a subscription box for a while and ScrawlrBox seems to be the most attractive to me. (And I bought those very same Derwent watercolours because I saw it in one of these videos.) Unfortunately, the US boxes are too expensive for me because of the added cost of shipping and customs fees as I live in the UK. I have in the past bought things from the US and found that the customs fees generally make what you buy cost twice more than it should if the same could be bought from a UK supplier. Not sure what it is like for other countries outside of the US and Canada, but I thought I'd mention that for people who are thinking of buying. And I would add that I love the Graphitint colours as they are muted in comparison to the bright ones that you normally get with watercolours. They look like that they will do atmospheric landscapes, wildlife and nature scenes really well and that it was attracted me to getting them.

I understand because I feel like you and I have a lot of the same thoughts . I already have a lot of art supplies. I just want to have some fun without feeling like I don't have a place to put everything that I receive, and I'm not really interested in some of the other types of art supplies besides watercolor which I studied a few years back and colored pencil which I do now. Everything you said was exactly what I was thinking. I'm leaning towards the art snacks plus box.
My practical self keeps telling me I really don't need any of it and I don't need to pay the extra amount for the Plus. But I just can't help myself I'm afraid I would miss out on something if I didn't get the Plus box. Thank you so much for all your input I love your Channel. Every time I get a couple boxes in a row that I'm not necessarily interested in (though the products are excellent) and consider trying a different box suddenly I start getting boxes that are right up my alley.
They always give a generous amount of paper or the boards. The Marabu products are always fantastic.
I haven't heard of a couple of the boxes you highlighted. I like the look of the art snax plus box and I'm going to check that one out.

Whichever box you decide is right for you, I hope you really enjoy all the wonderful supplies! I will be doing another video soon covering four boxes and talking about my own future plans for the boxes. Stay tuned for that one, there will be two boxes in that video that are not in this one.
