I think i’ll go with the touring edition, i plan on going to the track a couple times this year but i daily my car. Both sound good but i live in a quiet neighborhood 😅
The MBRP felt cheaper? I've heard similar from AWE owners. Feels like I've been trying to decide which exhaust to get for too long haha
What spacers, springs/coilovers are you running with the OEM wheels? Looks good.
Fortune Auto 510 coilovers. No aftermarket spacers. Just the factory rear spacers.
I just got my GR and it’s pretty loud from the factory.
Very interested in this system. But can’t decide to go with the track spec or not. Is the race setup drone worse than the stock system ?? U reckon it’s best going with the touring spec?
The track droned really bad. I had to go back to the touring. While the touring does drone as well. It's nowhere near as bad.
Great video man! This is the closest I've heard to a boxer rumble which is what I was hoping to get close to. I know it's been a minute since you had the stock exhaust on, but how much louder would you say the touring option was compared to stock?
Compared to stock it's a lot louder. Night and day difference.

Curious to see how to set aside the valve. I kind of wish they included the use of the valve in their exhaust. 😢
I wish they included a mount as well like MBRP did. I initially just had it zipped tied off to the side. But I've since mounted closer to the crash beam. I'll show it in my next video once I go back this weekend to install my downpipe.

I can hear the drone pretty bad in the in cabin sound clip. I would go with the touring for sure since I don't really track my GR.

Did the exhaust come with collar clamps for the hangers? and did it come with any AWE decals?
Yes it came with the collar clamps and a couple of decals
What exhaust wrap/shielding are you using and is it to help keep the diff cool?
I’ve had issues with my diff overheating and may look into this

I haven't driven with it in summer weather yet. But so far in the winter days I don't seem to have any issues.

The track actually was too loud for my kids. I just recently put back in the touring pipe to quiet it down a bit
I bought the track and it sounds good but it’s way too loud.
Is the touring considerably quieter?
It is "quieter" but still drones a decent amount on highway miles

It was. But only because we didn't use the hanger for that portion of the sound clip.
Sick car though by the way, i wouldnt let your guard down on that chop shop guy still putting trackers on your very rare corolla!!! People are shady af these days, i also trust no one, keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

Honestly not sure. I don't have anything to measure for dba.

Any drone on the highway?
With the Track set-up it drones pretty bad on the Highway. I'm going back this weekend to put the touring pipe back on to see if it helps any.

Poor designed system clamps together in a bunch of pieces, should be welded together. Clearly cost cutting and it shows.
