IMNSHO "One Man's Dream" (the film in Walt Disney Presents) is the best thing in the park. I always save it to be the last thing I do before leaving the park, and it's just as well as I'm usually in tears at the end. It's the only attraction at WDW that does that to me.

They just announced that Rock n Roller coaster will be down for a refurbishment early January into maybe summer. How bad do you think this is going to impact all of the wait times?
I’m actually over in Hollywood Studios for the college program and can say that as of now (Having seen all of January), Tower of Terror occasionally spikes up to over an hour but generally hangs around a 45-50 minute posted wait time (And the line itself tends to actually be shorter). Waits overall haven’t been that bad outside of spikes on the rides you’d expect to be busy
I know a lot of people don't like Hollywood Studios as much as the other parks but I think it is the best. Best rides and one of the two best nighttime shows
Has no rides and the ones they do have always breakdown. Just for that everyone should get a discount for this park tickets!
@@DisneyFrenzy2584 stop joking maybe. Its coaster is the best ride in Disneyworld. Rise of resistance is the best ride attraction in any theme park.
It's my favorite Disney park.
Ride breakdowns aside, this park is great for older people like 12+. As I'm a mom, now, this isn't the best park for super little ones especially babies. Prior to being a parent, this is my FAVORITE park. But, as a parent, it's not my favorite. Magic Kingdom is my least favorite, on a personal level BUT Magic Kingdom has slid up due to being super young one friendly, that I can experience with my little one. Hollywood Studios is hit or miss, depending on what you're there for.

Can you do a video for ride share options. I'm currently here and didn't realize what addresses you have to give the ride share apps, like drop off at the TCC area. Might be good for others to know.

3:15 that is kinda sad that the space dedicated to animation especially Disney animation in Disney Hollywood studios has almost no interessing attractions. Some rides dedicated to animated movies or cartoons would fit in there
I miss the behind the scenes tram tour similar to the tram tour in universal studios.

Omg when I went last year I knew Rock ‘N Rollercoaster was closed so I didn’t think about it. I almost forgot it exists! I need to make sure I book a Lightning Lane for it early, thanks for reminding me lol.
Also, I love Oga’s Cantina. I’m not even a Star Wars fan but DJ R3X is super cute, and for some reason I really, REALLY love the Hyperdrive (can’t drink alcohol). Already booked a reservation for the last night of my trip in a month, and I’ll probably end up booking a second for another day, lol
I think that my HS days are over. I miss the Backlot Tour, Lights-Motor-Action, Osborne Spectacle of Lights…. all of the good stuff they removed. I’m too old for Toy Story Land and don’t care about Star Wars, don’t shop much in the parks (seems to be half shops there)….
So bummed Rock N Roller coaster will be down for my trip. Im coming from LA and a DL passholder and we have everything else HS has. Besides RRC

Sooo we just did Hollywood Studios after Magic Kingdom, and I have some thoughts. The main thing is that I was surprised by all the rude cast members ay Hollywood. I started looking in earnest for a "1st Time" pin so they would take it easy on us when we made mistakes (got in the wrong line a couple times, didn't know how rider swap worked, messed up our dining reservation...) They were definitely our mistakes but we'd never been there before, and it's a little stressful trying to figure it all out the first time. I never did find any pins, everyone was out. I wonder if other people wanted them for the same reason. In a lot of ways it was a great experience, but if that was my one and only visit to a WDW park, I wouldn't be too impressed.

It is my least favorite park because of how busy, small and lack of rides it has for young kids.

Next year will mark the 35th anniversary of the park. I also noticed that it will be the same anniversary that The Muppets got to join the Disney family
Is it feasible to bring quick service food from, say Backlot Express to another quick service area, say Docking Bay 7? Got a picky eater in the group and the Tip Yip looks not great, especially since he's not crazy about mac'n'cheese. But a burger and fries would be great. The rest of us are happy to have a food adventure and we all are Batuu bounding for the full Star Wars experience. I haven't been to the park since I was a kid so I don't know how far apart these are or how portable the food is.
Thanks for the rider swap info! Can we do other park activities while the first group waits in line and still use the rider swap when they're done? For example, could we take the littles to the Disney Junior Dance Party while everyone else is waiting in line for Slinky Dog Dash and then use a rider swap to ride SDD when the main group exits the ride?
Yes, absolutely. My wife and I have taken our toddler multiple times and that's actually what we do most of the time. One of us rides the ride and the other goes and does something the kid can do. Like while my wife was on mine train, I took my son on the Winnie the Pooh ride and the carousel and then when she got off, she took him on those same rides, so he was constantly riding rides while we each took turns doing something he couldn't

Usually with the ride swaps my family has been doing the whole family goes to the boarding area and notifies the “cast members”. One parent waits with kids at the exit where riders get off. Then when the first parent finishes the ride the second parent walks back around to board and ride. The kids only wait the length of the ride plus a minute or two.
We liked ABC Commissary. It was comfy and the food was totally fine.
Transportation Option #5(?): If you're staying at an Epcot resort, you can walk!!
Hollywood studios is my favorite park, and by far has the BEST vegan options.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ has to be the worst restaurant in all of WDW. We went the week before Christmas, and it was definitely the worst "bbq" I've ever had, and it's not even close. They even manage to get the pre-meal cheddar biscuits horribly wrong. There is no hint of cheddar flavor at all and what flavor there is just tastes off, and the pepper jelly that comes with it is also terrible.
Should have known when it was lunch time with Christmas time crowds and we showed up and booked a reservation for just 15 minutes later at this place that supposedly "books up quickly"
I wonder how much Disney pays DFB to insist that you need to book reservations 60 days in advance to this place lol

Here in the end of Jan 24. Slinky is OK but overrated. If you're lucky enough to get a LL for it, it will throw off your whole morning. Minnie was down for early entry by the time it came back on, the soonest you could get was after 3pm. Rise is the best thing around. But to do over, i'd do my normal genie+ going from ride to ride quickly and just skip slinky. Threw our groove off!
Disney announced that they're doing another little mermaid show the reimagining it and putting a Little mermaid back into the theater

Map pop up animations are too quick!
I wouldn't survive the Indiana Jones show without a headset. I'm visually impaired so having low vision making my my other senses kick in and make up/help the vision out

I read that the little mermaid will be reimagined into a musical version of kiss the girl based on the animated version not the live version.
Not a musical version of just that song. But the show will have that song (the old show didn’t)

I sure wish Rise of the Resistance had a single line as it's too hard for me to get a disability pass even with a bad back. It should have a single line as it's been out for a while. I've seen the videos and Hollywood Nights got bad reviews. I'm not going. I may go to Magic Kingdoms Christmas show depending on my money. I hated the new Indian Jones. It's so boring and not as long as the old show. I've seen seen the old show 4 times maybe and it was more trilling and longer. Fantasmic was good but too crowded but we could only got at the 8:00 show so we could catch the free shuttle back to our hotel at Epcot.
No Mama Melrose??
Poor Mama Melrose. I feel like it's the only Sit Down meal that didn't even get mentioned. I'm not saying it's great, but I have nothing against it.
I like Mama Melrose especially the steak dinner with the five cheese Mac and cheese. Why did they leave it out of places to sit down and eat?
I went to DW from Jan 13-15, 2024 (Sat, Sun, Mon) and HS was by far the worst park in its current state. Aerosmith ride being renovated indefinitely (4-6 mos but unknown) is egregious and left very little availability for the rest of the park, do not bother park hopping here. We did not go to HS at park open, so the LL for all of the popular attractions were rendered useless. Sat we started at MK, Sun we did Epcot, Mon we did AK and then HS, and ended the night back at Epcot. If you make it during the festival of the arts, you will enjoy the food that is available at Epcot. Guardians of the galaxy at Epcot and Avatar at AK were my favorite rides. If you are on a time constraint, plan your visit to HS carefully or skip it entirely.
