- Spy Quad Bike was looking terrible when came to us.
We gave one whole new look with a custom paint in ZTS Hypershift Pearl, we added a spoiler to it and xenon lights.
Very pleased with the new look, definitely a head turner.

I've just got a spy350 f1 2012 plate, wheres the best place to get them done up at as needing a whole back end and I can't seem to find any tyres for mine as need to replace the front two

I would get this quad is it was fully rebuilt. Only because spy racing is a chinese brand
I've got 1 of these it ran like a bag of rubbish until I changed the carburetor now she runs like a dream it's the looks you get I was out on mine and some little lad come up and asked if he could sit on it when I was at the petrol station I said yes you can I let him start it he was over the moon loved it that's when it's great cheers Paul

@@sakins2748 mine's been running great top speed seems to be a bit higher had it up to 85 so far confirmed by a GPS speedo app. I also have the optional luggage rack and dual USB charger port fitted.
The one thing to bare in mind is that it's shaft drive so changing the handbrake disc/pad does require tools to disconnect the ujoint. You will have less power loss than with a chain but you'll also have a gentle vibration and hum which sounds weird if you've never driven a rear wheel drive car before but I Daily drive a 1978 Rover SD1 V8 so I'm used to it, I would advise as a result though to replace all the standard nuts with nylock nuts to prevent any from walking off.
Overall I'd recommend if it's going to be your only quad haven't ridden the previous model so not really qualified to say how much of a upgrade it is but this one also has a 6 speed gearbox and a LSD too.
Mine is a 2012 350 F1 spyder red, We found it very uncomfortable so I changed the front shock absorbers with graduated springs, much better now. But the ride is very unstable at speeds over 55kmph. Any bumps throw you around badly, but perfect on smooth roads.

It looks ok but i think it looked better the other colour should have just repainted the same colour if needing painting.

Any idea how you adjust the drive chain slack? My rear axel is fixed and the engine I can't work.out how.to put my new chain on. Any info ?
@@pastytit I had the same problem with mine on the axle there is a metal plump undo 3 bolts 2 on the axle and 1 on the brake then hit it with some wood and a hammer if you need me today a video I will mate let me know??
