NZ rents are way more than $500, in Auckland it’s more like $700 or more for a 3 bedroom. Food is $200 if you really watch what you eat for one person. I spend 300-$400 a week for my family. Power is about to go up so minimum is about $300 for a family. Everything is about to go up in price, it’s going to be crazy.

Depends where you are, its pretty easy to find a decent rental under $500 in Christchurch, Auckland is pretty much the worst. More like $150 for food, if you can't live healthy on that your doing it wrong.

Not only that, in Auckland they advertise a price let's say $500 a week and then when you go to the open home they have a book where you put your details and (your offer), then up the list you will see that some Ching Fan Wuen offered $900 per week, at that moment you realize that you will be living in a shed the rest of your life!

Was a shovk to hear some of your video. My fruit and veg bill in Portugal is 3 dollars a week, my rent is 0 as bought my house and fsrm. I can see it would be wise to set up an Organic market gsrden like I did before when I lived there. In 2000 cost of living was very very cheap compared too now. I will wait a while longer and see what happens before moving there again.

I rent a studio on my own in central Auckland, I pay $310 a week, my only extra Bill in Orcon unlimited internet at $20 a week.
I do not drive a car.
Its cheaper to hire a car for any long weekend resort trips.
    I manage working part time.
    I entertain myself.

Why per week? Do you actually pay everything weekly from your bank account?? Seems like a bit much, as in the U.S everything is paid monthly in a lump sum. Weekly is for hotels and very short rentals.

$2,800 a month for a studio apartment in Los Angeles. New Zealand sounds much cheaper and the tax burden is less too.

Of course it would only be temporary. She probably only went to Serbia because it was cheap, allowed her to save up money for New Zealand and is one of the only visa free European countries Russian citizens can go to while waiting to go somewhere better.

Mexico is not safe plus Mexicans don't appreciate when a foreigner comes demanding things to be done in English. We appreciate it when a foreigner makes an effort to speak Spanish. I'm a Mexican and I'm trying to move out because of how unsafe the majority of it is.

I live in Wellington cost 500 a WK food rent power wifi
I live off the government with subsidise rent and get 220 in hand after expensives
But someone asked me to work for them and offered 25 and hour 40 hour a wk, around 1000 a wk, sound ok right but if it cost 500 and I get 315 from government that equals 815, so for a full wk if working I get 1000, so 1000 take away 815 equals 185 in hand that's less than what I get from the government and I don't have to work my ass off.
    So why would I work
If you don't earn over $50 an hour don't expect to buy a house or have enough money for holidays or savings
The funny thing is there's a labour shortage in New Zealand but New Zealand employers and business owners would rather reduce the annual profits even to the point of financial bankruptcy than stabilising their market share an overall profits by paying workers more so they stay but they don't pay them MORE so their workers leave
Then they go on the news screaming there's no workers I hope all their businesses burn
The fact is since the early 80s New Zealand economy has been designed to exploit the working and middle class.
It just came out millionaires in New Zealand pay 9% less tax that a person on minimum wage WTF.
DONT MORE HERE IF YOU ARE WORKING OR MIDDLE-CLASS YOU ARE FUCKED.

I like how you've brought this up. I've just come off supported living payment which I managed to get myself $550 a week. I am off the bene now and work 2 fucken jobs and get about $120 more than this. IRD fuck you over when you work a second job and I always tell people if you can stay on the benefit it's a way less stressful life and you have back up money to pay your rent or buy you food if unexpected shit shows up.
