Excellent video. Most people have no clue about how much work is involved in keeping the power on. Even a simple thing like a branch falling on power lines requires many steps and safety checks before power can be restored. One thing though...I can say for sure that the modern power transformer will not last anywhere near 80 years. In the distribution sizes, they are designed for a 25 year max life span, very few go past that, most will barely make 15 years. It is all due the cost cutting typical of modern goods. Aluminum secondary windings, thinner steel for the cans, and newer safe insulating oils don't have the same moisture resistance and insulating properties of the older, (bot toxic) PCB based fluids.
