Hank, I LOVE that you don't create supplement books and you're all about "core" rule books. I'm also tired/overwhelmed with all these extra "supplemental books". Can't wait for those books to arrive! Cheers mate!
I feel the same way. Even OSE with its Dolmenwood or MoSh with its amazing 3rd party stuff can become overwhelming, let alone brands like 5e with their stream of books. It's not like it was during 3e with a book a month but it's still just so much stuff when you want to play more than one game system

SO, I thought of this while watching the video; I kinda bumped on the world at first, just because reality has been so hardcore lately, but in my minds eye, an animated VDS world map available somewhere online would be a gloriously cool thing to see. Just real short 2-5 sec animations for each location as you click on it seems like it would be a really fun digital artifact.

Watched this after seeing VDS highlighted by Prof DM. The product blurb talks about initiative-as-armour. Here you talked about armour-as-hp, but how does the initiative system work? Thanks for your products and especially your enthusiasm. There's nothing better in a hobby than love for creativity, and you really spread that.
all combats in VDS start with speed rolls... these act as the AC of all combatants AND their turn order...

this "scavenge" flavour and mechanic sounds great, especially in context of a struggle I've had to play a post-apoc mutant rock'n'roll rpg. It solves some major problems with both a scrap economy and HP. I'm very drawn to this. Ironically (because your cool vehicles on the table) wanting to link it into Gaslands chase scenes, stadium events etc , the d6 base also helps. Well done and congratulations Runehammer.

sure! i tend to have so many counters and timers all over, i use cards n sharpies when i can to declutter

Having run the original scenario several times through the years, and even making that video insert that I linked for other people to use of the actual War Pig transmission, I got so very much out of the Sabbath influenced Uber mishmash of techno space hulking, bronze age apocalyptic Satanica... I am sure this is going to up the dose in a truly inspired Manor. Hurry up and take my money

Interesting... it seems more Wargame than RPG... looks cool.
Is it cool? How is this even a question?
So much flavor (and charisma) and no substance.
"The GM doesn't set the difficulty he just rolls!" - > but he does set the number of dice against which the player has to roll. So thus he does set the difficulty.
It's basically a pretty standard dice pool opposition roll (like you'd see in Alien rpg)
"OMG No HP!!!" - >you just call HP armor and call healing scavenging... Again, cool flavor no mechanical difference.
And the items seem to be similar to what you had in ICRPG, as in cool flavor lame mechanics:
"you find the super boots of magnetic climbing! Amazing!" - > now you just roll a bit extra on climb checks. You're trying to make +1 items cool without changing anything.
Just take a look at some OSR stuff. Make mechanics and items that matter. Give us items that give cool abilities and have drawbacks:
Give me a sword that always crits but screams all the time. Or boots of climbing but they're stuck to whatever surface they're on and can't be taken off. Or a incredibly fast space ship that can't turn more than 90 degrees per day. Forget balance and make stuff that matters and forces players to make decisions, not grind gear and loot like an mmo.
Rules systems are lame anyway. I see this more of a campaign setting/source book. When I Dm I use my custom rules set that fits on an index card. Loads of charts and lists are whack AND lame.. We need a new and worse word for it. Like... Whakame.
