  • Stressed from work? Stressed from life? For all the talk of mindfulness and meditation, a lot of us still struggle to find that calm we want. Omar Brownson tapped into an entirely new way to find peace that may surprise you: gratitude. It was so powerful, he left his high-visibility, high-stress job to share the power of being grateful with as many people as possible. This…is A Bit of Optimism.

    19:25 Omar: "When we have disagreement, we make the other person feel invisible." Thank you for sharing this wonderful insight, Omar.

      Gratitude is about making good visible! And with practice, we learn to see how much we make invisible!

    Simon, I literally loved your videos on leadership and knowing the why, so now if I give interviews I discuss the company's why with the interviewer and it gives me much more clarity and confidence.

    Gratitude requires a lot of internal work. I’m 100% into the fact that the more we know ourselves the more we understand the world around us and vice versa, it should always go both ways. There is a beautiful multitude of ways of doing that and each of them is that beautiful jigsaw puzzle in our picture of the world that we are painting. Take care of you and thank goodness we are living in the same time as you Simon 🙌

      Gratitude does require a lot of internal work, but it gives back so much.

    👌Excellent interview, practising gratitude on specific things and acknowledge feelings. YES, the world needs a “Help Others Industry”! Like the approach about what we have learnt from triggering cases. Love the gratitude decade journey question, amazing.

    • @omarthanks
      @omarthanks 3 роки тому

      Yes to triggering our positive emotions, so we don't get triggered by our negative ones. And double yes about the gratitude by decades. Simon gave me such a gift with that question.

    Hey YOU, incredible person reading this...The truth is you are confident and good enough already with who you are, where you are at and what you have right now to have the success you want in life. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn that skill and go after it! I believe in you so much! Have an awesome day! - Love, Nat ❤️

    We need to respect each other , be able to trust each other and finally we need to work together for a better future for us and new generations to come .
    Anyway only stupid or thoughtless person cut the branch of the tree on which they are sitting .
    That is the truth .
