I love the Switch. Coolest console I've ever owned. It's like what Vita wanted to be, but 1000x better. Love the Joycons and how comfy it is to game with one in each hand. Love how versatile they are, even in the grip it feels amazing.

Nintendo knows the kickstand is flimsy. It is meant to break off actually, it just snaps back into place.

If the kickstand didn't pop off then the plastic would just break in half and be permanently broken. With this design it easily pops off an easily pops back on to prevent permanent damage.
Yeah once I was on my switch then I tried to get the kickstand out and it fell off! But i put it back on

Hey rich, when you hold the release button while taking the straps off actually makes it harder to remove. I learned the hard way lol. You do not need to press the joy on release when removed the straps

Straps are difficult to take off I imagine to avoid any possible lawsuit of straps being detached during extreme movement and possibly thrown across a room. I don't think it's such a big deal that it takes a little effort to take off.
It's ridiculous it can be put on the wrong way so easily though.

Rich im pretty sure that little switch thing by the strap locks it. the snap noise lets you know its in place. so it was harder to take off when you pulled it. im not sure that just what i thought.

the Betty Crocker scissors part had me crying XD
big game boxes = home console. small boxes = portable console. vita boxes are ok in size for the cartridge size which is almost equal to a switch game. you don't lose the game in your house, you can see it in a shelve in a store. now, switch games also have to "compete" with ps4 and xbox boxes, so.. thats why the size.

the kickstand issue is a simple one. It pops off easily by design, so it wouldn't break if too much force is applied, cause hinges on something so thin couldn't handle if someone applied too much downward force on them, this would just pop off. and after you put it back, it would do the job as good as it did before. sorry, my English is rusty.
I would prefer something more stable though.

I don't know, I think it would still be more practical for the game cases to be a lot smaller. If the default game cases were the size of say, SD card cases, then they would have an additional, practical, use as you'd be able to carry multiple games on the go (which is the selling point of the Switch) without the need to purchase a third party storage case.
I don't think they can make the cases much smaller, I agree. Some extra reasons, to include artwork, to include manuals/download codes etc if the game maker wants to put that in the case, to have enough room to put information about the game on the back of the case, include the barcode, include the price. To fit all that information on/in a tiny case, it would be impossible to read :)

It looks like the Aukey 30000mAh Portable Charger has a rate of 5V 3A when charging something from its USB-C Drive. Apparently, the Nintendo Switch charges at a rate of 15V 2.6A so this charger wont be at a fast enough rate if the Switch's batter is already dead. It will need to be attached the whole time the Switch is being used on the go to be of any use.
Game case looks to be about the same size as a PSP case.
