Peter kind of looked sad towards the end, like he was happy that he wasn't alone, but was upset that someone else would also inherit the suffering you'd get by being Spider-man
I noticed that to. The fact that he has someone by his side doesn’t negate the fact that this same person is now inducted into a life of loss, tragedy, and danger.
The suffering you get by being spider-man is the same as being any other person
@@Trathien- not really you’re loved ones are in danger more then ever, you’re gonna get beat down a lot by the people you save as well as the people who hate you. You beat the lives of so many people on your shoulders. A good majority of people don’t experience this all in one go unless your in law enforcement or something akin to it

I kinda like Miles and Peter's older brother and younger brother type of relationship better than the Into the Spider verse's mentor and student/father like figure relationship. Idk, it just feels like this is how Miles and Peter would've interacted if their age differences weren't so wide and if Peter wasn't from another universe
Wouldn’t say I like it better than ITSV, but I definitely enjoy it very very much. I always wanted to see what would happen if Pete and Miles both coexisted in the same universe and both being Spider-Man without Pete dying. Insomniac nailed their relationship.
Agreed! I know it's weird, but Pete's relationship with Miles is more interesting to me than his relationship with MJ in this game.

Something I noticed about their masks is that Peter's has more sharp edges, indicating he has become more refined as Spider-Man, while Miles' has more of a lee-ditko style of roundedness that adds to his youthful exuberance as the new Spidey. I love the detail!
I love how they keep Peter alive instead of killing him off like in the comics.

They made the right call here. Minimal use of Peter since this is Miles story yet still putting in just enough to get us hyped for the next game where both will play a big role even if both are not playable. Also the Money shot at the end. I mean who didn't screenshot that?

Seems like they did a better job animating Peter’s face in this game than they did in the remaster. The new face in the remaster is rarely ever expressive. It looks great visually but as someone said in another comment section, it has a “Ken Doll” effect
I've been saying this ever since I saw the remaster and everyone disagrees with me! So glad to find someone that thinks he's a little too neutral
@@matthewparsons4597 it’s especially obvious in side-by-side comparisons with the PS4 face in certain scenes. Visually the new one looks more realistic in aspects of texture and stuff, but the old one’s expressions, even if they looked a bit wonky because of how they rigged the face, were much more accentuated. I think that in the “remaster” they rushed swapping the faces more so than in Miles Morales and probably didn’t rig the face as well or align it with the motion-capture data as well as Miles Morales did. Even though it’s one or two scenes where his face is visible, it’s more expressive than it was in the entirety of the remaster
In the remaster they just slapped the new model over the old one's animations. That's why it looks odd. Here they animated it from scratch so obviously it looks better

I think the remastered fave was more for the purpose of a retcon fix, so any new game would make more sense
Love the parallel between the “oath” conversation and their last conversation. Peter was giving Miles a pep talk so he’d feel more confident, but now that he’s grown confident being Spider-Man, Peter seemed a little sad that Miles now has the same life that he has. Especially after Miles said “we’re disposable.” His tone when he said “go time?” was so soft, on top of a melancholic music. Love the Spider-Bros.🥺

The facial expression of the new peter parker in miles morales is better than in the Spider-man remastered.
Yea cause this game was made with the new face model in mind so it looks better, it was just slapped on to the old game in the remaster which is why he looks so lifeless

He took several building destroying explosions to the face and kept fighting before getting slammed through several walls

Well, there is 2 reasons why he won in Spider Man PS4, and 3 why he lost in Miles Morales PS5.
1: He had much more environmental objects to throw at him.
2: He used them( Scorpion and Rhino)against each other. That's how he won.
Now why he lost.
1: He took several buildings to the face.
2: He was also hit by the explosion and continued to hit more buildings.
3: This was Miles' first big mission and he was more about protecting at this point in time an irresponsible Miles.

it was actually going good in Miles Morales, his face was actually expressive and didn't look odd but now they managed to fuck it up in SM2 again... great... they shouldve just changed his face to John Bubniak's especially since Bubniaks face was in the game files in the remaster and had a slight different adjustments

@@milkman-30 what I've seen is not that impressive compared to his Miles Morales face model... all shots of him looked odd especially with the fudging suit he had on... he looked like a weird scared baby whos head doesn't match his body... ppl really thought that Insomniac were going to give him something more to agw him up but they didn't... this is what happens when you're too optimistic or expecting too much, the game is almost out anyways so it's unlikely they're going to change anything unless the fan backlash is major

I came back to this video after replaying both games to prepare myself for the second game coming out in a couple months, one thing that made me laugh was the idea that Rhino probably doesn’t get access to news networks in prison, and so I I like to imagine he had no idea about the new spiderman, so when he breaks free and sees Miles and Peter, he doesn’t give a shit, just like “two spiderman, bet, more people to punch.”

Honestly, i don't know why but somehow i can imagine a cartoon series with these two Spider-Men! Peter could be a great teacher for Miles. Cause the fact that Miles is just about to begin his Spidey journey. Like he screws almost everything up, or sometimes he feels less good or useless than the original Spider-Man, because Peter is more experienced than Miles. And others will underestimate him not just as Spider-Man, but as also Miles too. And i can imagine Gwen Stacy AKA: Spider-Gwen/Spider-Woman as Miles girlfriend from school, while she's trying to join in the Spider team during in the show. I think with a grown up Mentor and with a great lover, they could help Miles up from being called weak. But i think this series could be more than about Miles. They could tell us how Peter's living his every day life with Mary Jane. Or how's the relationship between Gwen, and her father. Cause he doesn't let her playing in a rock band or doing something what she loves. Or seeing Miles getting a crush on Gwen. And when time goes, the closer we're getting to see Miles showing his real feelings to her. And to be honest, i see a lot more potencial in this if we really could have a new Spider-Man series. And this show would be called in my opinion, Marvel's Spider-(Wo)Men: the cartoon series. 😁🤟🕸🕷

Maybe they would pull a joke where both Spider-Man response to someone calling one of them and through the game both tried to find Miles a new name. Something like Brooklyn Spider-Man, Spider-Man Two, Spider-Boy, Spider-Man Junior, Thwippy, Web-Head Junior, before landing with Shadow-Spider.

I am the only that seems to have an issue with the fact that Peter had such a hard time with Rhino I mean he fights Scorpion and Rhino at the same time and wins during the first game -_-
Some heroes can get knocked down from the same villain at least some point in there career

It looks like a little boy when he’s supposed to be in his mid 20s. Looks younger than Miles. Voice doesn’t match all and we already resonate with the original look.

Not sure if you have already been told but you missed a scene of him and Otto having a conversation in a flashback in the museum towards the end of the game, right at the “memory metal” stand.
When the game is a 100x better than TASM, TASM2, Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man far from home.
Too bad it won't beat out No Way Home.
