I literally listen to this atleast once a day, I'm in the middle of building up a e30 325i shell. This videos is exactly why i am putting a m30b35 in my e30. Hands down this is the best sounding car i have ever heard in my life and I'm 30 this year.

M30 is the best motor, it’s so nostalgic for me. Grandpa had many m30s when I was a kid. The raw sound, and smell of an old BMW. That’s why I am in the middle of swapping a m30b32 into my 84 318i. I need this sound forever in my life. Is is music to my ears and soul. (I’m 21)
its just the hot camshaft setup... running good on high revs, running shitty in idle.. and yea sounds a bit of rotor-firing.. but that sounds comes from a biiiig difference xD

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emission- and smoke crime.

I cringe when people say iS tHaT a 2Jz?? or SoUnDs LiKe A rOtAry. Its his cam setup that makes his idle so choppy. And majority of rotarys don't have this choppy idle. My dad used to own a fc rx7 and it sounded pretty boring even with an aftermarket exhaust. People confuse the sound of the 4 rotor and the sound of the stock 2 rotor, thinking all rotarys sound like a 4 rotor. Oh and if you think he's running a 2j then I honestly don't know for you

Thony the maw You have to solution for 400hp+.
1. Buy E30 and swap engine with 1JZ-GTE (this engine have 280hp in stock, just add exhaust system, decat and intake for have 350hp+)
2. Buy e30 and install turbocharger.
