That is so beautiful. I noticed while watching how much I enjoy your videos. The voice over and music along with the time lapse makes your videos very relaxing and clutter free of noise (honestly I find it hard when sewists try to talk over a running sewing machine, too much noise for me). I find you video taping and editing is next level. I just wanted to let you know. Have a beautiful Sunday.
Thank you so much for the percentages! Imagine my surprise and delight when you gave an example that is exactly the size I need, 60“ x 80“. Not only that, but your black and white version in the video is where my mind was going anyway. Sleep In Heavenly Peace always needs teenage boy versions of a quilt and the neutrals would be a great application in this design. Annette, you knocked this one out of the ballpark! Liz in Houston
@@compusword8006 I agree! And they will take materials that have been re-purposed too, which is a bonus for trying to buy less, use more of what we have! ☀☀☀
Wow, you had to stay really organized to get this top done., But I think that is your super power. Once again, I love what you’ve created here. Thanks again.
And another great way to use up those longer scrap pieces, and if you want a challenge, don't look at what colour piece is next whilst sewing haha - great finish as always Annette 😁
Beautiful quilt top! I love finding an irresistible inspiration piece. Sometimes it inspires a pattern, sometimes a color palette, and sometimes both. 🎉 Try taking a picture on your phone of the computer image. I like keeping that picture close to where I'm cutting or sewing. If it doesn't work for you, printing is a great option.
Excellent video, yet again. I have tubs of 2.5 " strips, by color, and have begun sorting as you did, but with scrappy strips. May have to join similar colors, which will be slightly different from the original, but I hope in a good way. Keep posting these videos if possible. I watch them all. Thanks from Taupo New Zealand.
Hi Desley! ☀️ I'm so glad you like it! The finished quilt is about 40" x 52", see the description for math and ideas for making it larger while maintaining the design.
@@carolmacdormand2663 Oh I see! Well I was measuring a picture on my computer screen, so CM was the way to go there. 🤣🤣🤣. Honestly why did they teach us the metric system in grade school if we weren't going to use it???? ✨☀. But it is nice to be familiar with both I guess. 🌼✂🧵
THANK you,But,I do have a comment, Please don't take it the wrong way,I enjoy your channel, but you say quilt top, but then you turn around and say blanket, its not a 'blanket' its a quilt and it's distracting when you call it one then the other, sorry , I know just a small thing and picky too ,,,, Anyway love your channel ❤
Thanks so much Renee! ☀️. Hopefully it wasn't as bad as nails on a chalkboard! 🤣💙. I kept looking at the ad for the blanket and started using the term loosely! 🤣
Your stashbusters are a constant source of inspiration. Thank you
Glad you like them! ☀️✨🧵

Wow, Liz! So glad you liked it! Many of my charity quilts go to Sleep In Heavenly Peace here in Kansas City! ☀️
Thank you for donating some of your charity quilts to Sleep In Heavenly Peace. They so truly appreciate each quilt to cover a bed they receive!

Are you Canadian?
No, I'm in the Kansas City area. ☀️
