    Welcome to my country Syria. Hope you had a good time there. The girl that was talking to you minute 32:06 was trying to hand you back the money and she was saying that she doesn’t want the money and telling you to keep it as you might need it. What a sweet little girl ❤️

    I really like the video, it's great. Despite the very difficult situation and poverty, a life in ruins, all the children smile kindly and are open to foreigners. Here in Germany, Syrians are the opposite, they are not open, they keep their distance, and the Syrian children who live in my area don't laugh and don't even greet. These are things that I don't understand why that is the case. That's like differences as night and day. Take care my friend

      @belfastroamer  Рік тому

      oh really? I'm not sure why there's a difference. The Syrians in Syria are amazing though

      @@belfastroamer Yes, that's really true. The behavior of Syrians is different here than in Syria. I think they have adapted to life in Germany. The German mentality is not the best and it can influence others

      He’s an Aleppo semi famous local man who’s known for wearing yellow and just being a jolly man about town. Wasn’t sure if he is still alive though.

    Didn't the tour guide tell you that there were emperors of the Roman state of Syrian origin from Homs, such as Julia Domna, Caracalla, Geta, Julia Mesa, Julia Mamiya, Julia Somia, and we also have the Syrian Empress of Rome, Philip the Arab, and also Elagabalus. Marcus Aurelius Alexander
    He was from Homs, Syria, the greatest jurist in the ancient world, whose name was Babnian al-Homsi

      @@belfastroamer Unfortunately, it did not take you to the distinctive archaeological sites. You did not go to see the waterwheels of the city of Hama, nor to Apamea, nor to the castle of the fortress, nor to the Citadel of Salah al-Din, nor to the Azem Palace, Khan Asaad Pasha, the ancient libraries, or the baths.... Unfortunately, I will not be able to write all of them! In general, you, my friend, visited Syria in its worst historical stages. If you want to know about Syria and write your memoirs, I hope you read about what the Greek and Roman historians wrote about Syria, such as Herodotus, Strabo Pallini the Great, Diodorus of Sicily, Polybus, etc.. You will be surprised by the importance of Syria in the ancient world.
      Thank you very much, my dear brother🫡🫡. I hope you will visit Syria again.❤️❤️❤️

    I have a question. Are there border checkpoints between Damascus and Homs or between Damascus and Aleppo where police officers ask for money?

    • @belfastroamer
      @belfastroamer  Рік тому

      Yes there are many checkpoints between these cities but no, nobody asked us money the while time we were there. The guides showed them all the paper work so we didn't have to. Zero stress

      @@belfastroamer cause you are protected by the government, they consider you in mission to promote that everything was perfect and safe and Bashar Al Assad is a good guy, actually they used you and other vlogers for the same thing, while the fact is you would never cross a checkpoint without paying money, during your stay many of Syrians who came for visit was kidnapped and asked their families for ransom, and who do that things must be working in Assad militia and same time they are the biggest drugs cartel in the region, don’t think things is so easy over there you had green card that’s no body must disturb you at all and absolutely you was monitored most of time that 100% sure, anyway it was nice to see Irish going around Damascus :)
