Unfortunately it flatters to deceive as it's more about background music as you can hardly hear the music of the din of the chattering classes who are in the sweet spot eating. I've been on more than one occasion and asked if they could turn the volume up to be met by a polite no, so those impressive bass drivers are pointless
"...we've had producers come in, play their own music and hear elements of it they didn't realise were there" An accurate system reproduces what's put into it, if the person that made the music is hearing things they didn't actually put into the music intentionally then where is it coming from?
You should look in to how a lot of stuff is monitored. Even in the early 2ks, producers were already recounting how they tested masters on car systems (CD and even FM) and earphones including buds as early as the 90s. Why? Their reasoning is simple, it has to 'pop' through the listening medium in which the music will be predominantly consumed. It's not a wonder for them to hear something different in a system like this. It's like seeing through the actors' make up recorded at 420p when viewed from a 1080p or 4k remaster.
If you add a good subwoofer to your system you will probably re-listen to all your favorite albums, you didn't hear the low frequency so well before so it becomes an new aural playground for your ears for a while. But judging by those speakers and boxes I'd say the mids are probably emphasized much more than real highs and lows, so midrange information could be revealed more (not more accurately).
These guys are the real deal. I could easily spend hours there.
Gotta hand it to that guys dedication to sound.
Paradiso. This is what’s needed to promote the art of listening. 👍🏼
Real passion. I love it.
Amazing place to relax and your stereo system are so elite
Wtf...this is insanely beautiful!!
Great idea. Wishing you all the best with this venture.

I would be so upset to go to a place like that and barely be able to hear the music…. Yikes
Looking Good :)
Crazyyyyy
what is the turnarm on the technics ?
Working to do something similar in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada - look me up if you come to visit the area. Cheers!
Did you open ? Share details of the place
So what is your conclusion? Was the long tone arm or the short tone arm better?
That would depend on the cartridge....but there is a lot to be said for a longer tonearm.
Wow
That adapter weight is ridiculous it does not make any difference...
Probably slows the record down! Actually, the UK's top turntable engineer is dead against the effects that record clamps make to the sound.
It's a record weight....and they they actually do make a difference.
I've had the idea to do something similar for a while now, just not as extravagant.
Half-a-million pound installation there.
Like the late Sakuma in his Concorde restaurant.

It's like my living room !!!!!!
Why no dancefloor?! Torture! ;P
probably something to do with licensing....adding a dancefloor makes it a club and the government don't like clubs...
there's always the table-tops! more fun too :D
That turntable costs 24000 dollars....
