Nice just a question how did you do that combo and what switch skill did you use , , I love the hammer is the easiest weapon to learn but I still don’t know how to do the combos sometimes I pull them off but I just hold my charge button , it’s like it’s random for me
Switch skills are shown here 4:51 Hammer has 3 stances, basic, strength and courage. You can see which stance are in by the hammer icon next to the sharpness bar. Yellow hammer icon is basic stance hammer, which I guess is what you are using. Blue hammer icon is strength/courage, which you pick as a switch skill. You can switch between yellow and blue stance by pressing R2 + Circle together (Charge + water strike/side smash button) Basic and Strength hammer's charge attacks has 3 levels, and for level 3 (fully charged) charged attacks, you have access to 2 different attacks depending if you are stationary or moving when releasing the charge. For example: 0:33 is Strength level 3 stationary charge release, while 0:39 is moving charge release. Ok the 0:33 that’s the one I want to learn when you say stationary , so switch the to the blue mode and charge all the way then don’t move then press R2
How is it that every time you go to charge it’s the purple charge every time? I’ve been a hammer main for ages and it’s like it has a mind of its own sometimes it charges white sometimes it charges purple and I have to adjust or improvise
You can switch from classic hammer (white charge/yellow hammer icon) to advanced charge (purple/strength/courage) by pressing circle (sidesmash/water strike button) while charging.
