Quick note on the post game experience. In 2nd ed, a wiz may only improve 1 stat per game(pg 83) and reduce casting roll on 1 spell per game(pg 84), but they may learn as many new spells as they have exp for and have the grimoires for in their vault. If you don't have new spells to learn, you have to bank the exp for later.
Poor Owen. Gets a bunch of new earth elemental models, and they die. :( Looks like his warband will be thug life until he grabs some more treasure. Thanks again guys, you've made my Monday. Stay safe.
That was an absolute bloodbath. Superb game and a great way to start a Monday. Love both your warbands and looking forward to your next match up! You have to get yourself a white gorilla though!
Frostgrave 2nd edition, and Tim Hortons Coffee. Man, you are living! EDIT: We need to give your buddy a microphone. Talking through that mask is like listening to guy with a mouthful of marbles.....
I really need to stop watching narrative warband games, i just end up wanting to start all of them. Loving this already, can't wait to see what other hijinks you two and the wizards get up to.
That's an interesting idea; though I do really like the swinginess off the D20. It leads to all sorts of epic little moments; like the Barbarian vs the Ice Worm and the Woman-at-Arms against... well, practically Owen's entire warband.
Question about second edition animal companion spell for those in the know, can both your wizard and apprentice cast it and give you two animal companions? I thought you could only have one.
I had a question about the dice tray y'all use in this video. Seen it a lot in your older vids and I just love the sound it has for some reason. Is it one you bought or made?
Unless the warbands are upgraded with extra money they are wrong. Starter wizards have 400 gold and apprentice costs 100. 300 gold left for soldiers, not 400.
I’ve been on the fence about Frostgrave for a long time now. The hesitations I have are due to the lack of experience gain for non wizards and the lack of special rules for henchmen. Soldiers/cultists/barbarians/gnolls are all the same from what I can tell.
You can check the sellsword expansion to add a captain for your warband and maybe add a couple of houserules for more flavors on the weapons or equipment (maybe imported from mesbg)
New to Frostgrave. Why are the treasures placed so close to the starting point. Wouldn't it be better if they were closer to the middle of the board. Otherwise, turn 1 is basically run pick up treasure then try to leave.
40:12 The soldier could not have picked up the treasure after the fight. His one non move action was used to fight so all he had left was move. Dropping a treasure can replace the move action but picking up cannot.
Also, probably would be a good idea to slow down. Your buddy clearly didn’t understand the roll to summon the worm and it really messed him up. You’re arbitrarily deciding things and rolling and just telling him that’s how it is. You should make sure everyone is on the same page for what the roll means before doing it.
So its possible for both Wizard and aprentice to cast animal companion and summon an animal each as seen in the vídeo. Is it possible to do the same at frostgrave first edition?
Correct me, if I am wrong, but how is it possible that Ash wizard has fight +3 and 15 wounds and is level two? I thought you can only upgrade one stat after a game in the second edition. Is the placement of the treasures correct? (First treasure has to be within X inches of the central treasure)
I’ve tried a few times to watch your videos but I’m getting on in years and I have a lot of trouble making out a significant percentage of what you are saying. This keeps me from getting more than 2 minutes into a video before I typically give up and go searching other channels. Keep also in mind that a lot of the words in our hobby are not found regular conversation so I lose some of the ability to infer from context. Your production values appear very high but if you could maybe speak 10% more slowly and/or enunciate a little more clearly, it would open your videos right up for me and maybe others - for instance those for whom English is not a first language. I hope you take this as constructive feedback and not trolling or baseless criticism.
I love it when Owen’s definitely existent but understated whimsical side pops out
Can you even show that on UA-cam?
if leap cast on figure with treasure, it only move 5" (22:00)
Thanks for your videos!!!
Ooh, thanks, I would have probably missed that (page 125 of Frostgrave 2.0)
i was just about to make this comment.
Nothing gets me to click in faster than Frostgrave. Owen's warband is amazing!
Im buying this book and starting the game this week, damn you GMG

Those little elementals are too damned cute. What a wonderful army! A shame that poor Owen rolls casting dice like I do.
He needs to get a new D20!

My rulebook is soon here now :-)
So glad to see more Frostgrave!

Love the fostgrave videos, thank you for all the time and effort you put into the channel.

First video of frostgrave2: it isn’t about killing as much as the puzzle of getting the treasures Second video: *owen shows up* *bloodbath*
Love Owen's warband
Looks like someone opened up a can of wyrms there ;) In all seriousness I'm always jazzed to see more Frostgrave.
Love watching these! You guys are great!
Oh, durdle, durdle, durdle
I made it out of clay
And when it's dry and ready
Then, durdleI will play.
Great stuff - loving Owen's new band of merry clods, always fun to see what will happen next.
Will there ever be anymore Ghost Archipelago videos released in the future?? Really enjoyed the ones that have already been made.
Awsome again, loving these videos 👍🏻 Keep it up 👍🏻
the difference in D20 sizes is brilliant lol love it
Love the 2end edition! Time to start a new warband :)
The clods are well underway to become (at least) a multiversal threat ;). Nice game as always.
OOOOH! I like that terrain! =)
Always like the Frostgrave videos. Still buying the figures and terrain for the game, if I don't go bankrupt first
Frostgrave 2nd edition, and Tim Hortons Coffee. Man, you are living!

You're my Hero Ash! Luv Ya' Man! (Still not a Patroen!), Coming soon my Man.
I really need to stop watching narrative warband games, i just end up wanting to start all of them. Loving this already, can't wait to see what other hijinks you two and the wizards get up to.
I see someone brought their infinity dice to a frostgrave fight
Cool minis guys keep it up!
You can really see the effects that a d20 have on the outcome of this game. Would be interested to see what it looks like with d6, d10 etc.

Oh OH the comptroller. LMAO. Fan-bloody-tastic. Lol. I thought you would have made more crap puns. Xx
Coprolite not comptroller. Sigh. Auto correct.
Where is that terrain from? By the way LOVING Frostgrave 2e

Fun crew Owen.
Love it!
Does anyone know where owen got his models from? Did they mention it?

Can you show the complete stones war band even the ones he did not used, please!! Thanks in advance
9:58 thats what she said ZING

Where did you find that giant worm at?? WOW!!!
It’s a Skorne Hordes figure from Privateer Press
I know this video is kind of old at this point but where do you guys get those stone bridges? Crafter, printed or bought?
Pet store!
coprolites are pretty great, but skeksil forever!
What company makes Owen's warband?

I think you also playes leap wrong. If the guy is holding a treasure, you can only leap him 5 inches. not 10
And is it possible to move 6 inches after figthing a turtle?
Did owen make his warband from scratch?
They’re some free 3D designs he printed up and painted that he found online. Check the comments for them!
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames thanks Ash!😁
I'm wrong handed too.
owen's really playing it hard mode not bringing any magic casters this campaign
That is a cutting remark... generally cutting for four or more to try to get a spell off :D
1st comment!!! So loving this game, even bought the red life counters you all use!!!
🌴👍
