My brother was 278lbs and got on high blood pressure pills and he found Rich on UA-cam and started doing his exercises. He's lost 50lbs in 2 months already and Rich got him motivated and made him think he could lose weight and get in shape. The doctor said soon he can get off of the pills bc he's doing so well. Rich really helped my brother and I thank him for that.

I remember as a 12 year old sponging up everything I could find about lifting and then stumbling onto Rich's channel. In the 7 years I watched him I learned more than I ever could from some book about bodybuilding. Though people laughed at him and made jokes, he delivered and genuinely wanted to help, and at least he went out from going for his passion. Rest easy big guy, we will not forget you.

i was depressed and drunk all the time i smoked 1 to 2 packs of cigarettes a day along with being very over weight Rich inspired me to change all of that within 5 months i was down 50 pounds and im on 9 months of no smoking and drinking and can run 15 miles without stopping

I only stumbled upon Rich's channel about 9 months ago. I could really relate to him and his attitude for achieving your goals. Even though I already thought the way he did, he still continued to inspire me. I loved watching all of the vids you guys put out. For the small amount of time I followed him I find that his death has been on my mind a lot. For the longest time I hoped it wasn't true, always holding on to hope that it was a rumor or something...then when I found out it was true it was hard to accept, the thought of how it came out of no where, he had so much more in life to do. Things like this scare the crap out of me because any one of us could be going about our day and some freak accident happen and take us out, whether it's self induced or something else.
I think rich has inspired me not only in achieving things in life but also to remember that each day has to be appreciated. I can't imagine how Chanel and family must feel and I won't pretend to....but never the less it has affected me a lot and my best wishes go out to you and all of the fans who looked up to him.
To the haters I would say find something else to do. Talking shit about someone who lost their life unexpectedly is something that will get karma to come bite you in the ass.
