Never been a fan of VW's and never thought about owning one in my 45 years on planet earth.... but have to be honest and admit I am loving this build 👍🏻
Awesome stuff buddy lots of love from south Africa Johannesburg
Amazing work bro well done ❤keep up the amazing content
Zak mate, so good! Selfishly wished you kept with the PD130 as i'm thinking of doing that to my caddy, so I could copy your every move!
Haha! Most of the pd130 stuff was covered in my previous videos. I even made a full guide video
Great video brother ❤keep up the amazing content 🎉
So in ❤ with this build. I wish I could get a car like this in the future. Great work!
Loving seeing the progress and how far you’ve come 💪🏼
Looking forward to the completion. Nice build.
Absolutely loving the build
Amazing work
Loving the progress so far mate! ❤
Glad to hear !
hey bro can you make a main video on how you wired the new loom for the engine and along with caddy loom to work together please thats the only thing that stresses me out
Very much enjoying your content! Keep up the great work.
Project is making really good progress keep it up bro
Looking great 👍 really enjoyed this episode of your build
Made me laugh just them 😅 going to start it... "oh wait " 😂 mate you make this look so easy. The lump is the part that puts me off doing it all to my mk1 as my brain hurts when I comes to electrics.. look forward to seeing this progress mate 👍
Doing a great job Sir. Thanks for sharing.
Very tidy work 👍🏻 can I ask what clamps you used for the fuel filter please? Need to fit one to my Mk2 Golf.
I think I’ve put the Amazon link in the description
Totally, I like how this bro does his thing man, wish I could send him my car to covert as well ✌🏾😎🔥
This is our culture as South African…
day 2 of pleading with you to not colour match the rocker cover. please use a contrasting color, like a nice blue of your choice. look at a colour wheel and find something on the opposite end of the spectrum to the base colour
I think there will be too many colours then, right now there is cream, Matt black and some chrome parts.. I could always change it if it doesn’t match too
Trim black and metals don't count towards your colour choices, they are a given on any vehicle. If you're planning to go with a black interior, you can leave the cover black, but I think you'd be missing an opportunity for some colour pop
damn bro good job in this video! what other looms/harness's do you make i have a mk1rabbit with mk3 vr6 but my wires are so old and brittle would love to buy one from you
I only have the rear caddy ones at the moment, maybe one day I could do other ones
Hi mate, what’s needed from the body loom side to run the engine ?
I’ve got a 3.2 bdb engine in my van, stripped the Audi interior loom and chased all the wires/connections back to the ecu plug labelled all wires from ecu pin out diagram, and removed the rest of the loom … now I’m stuck, don’t know what’s the minimum needed from the body plug side of ecu to run the engine 🤷🏼♂️
Send me a message on Instagram -Zaksgarage
Where did you find the pins for the ecu as I’ve been looking for months with no joy
If you check the empty slots on the plug there are pins inside!
A very nice project!
I have a similar project with my Caddy.
A Question, where did you buy the Y-pipe for the Caddy/Golf1?
And the fuel filter, which vehicle does this come from?
Kind Retards, OCWX
Germany
I got it from S&P automotive, the fuel filter is a Bosch 044 alternative. Not sure what cars they came on
@@zaksgarage Many thanks for the answer .
The Filter is from an Audi TT 8J or A3 with a 3.2 Engine, I've now found that out!
Kind regards OCWX
