Curious what the cam is. I just brought the performer RPM cam and i.m for my 472. 10.25:1, ported/milled d3 heads, studded top and bottom, 770 t.a carb, long tubes, msd lights it up, crane rollers, Holley pump...I hope it sounds as good as yours
Are you running this with stock heads? I have ported to death c8's and .600 would've been pretty much impossible without modifying the valve guides and notching the Pistons. So I'm stuck with a .530 lift cam.
