Awesome, it's so nice to watch as each seam you do transforms something plain into something beautiful.

This combination has turned out really nice Lisa. I am collecting some bits and pieces of fabrics so I can try a bit of this crazy patchwork myself. I struggle with the dark dingy days of winter so I think having something positive to work on will be good for me. Do you have any tips for stitching with sore hands? My arthritis is aggravated by the weather and my needlework hobbies often need to be put to one side for a while and finished in stages.

Something lovey to work on sounds wonderful during the dark days of winter!
My tips for working with sore hands include:
      - Use a hoop or frame and considering getting a stand or clamp so you don't have to hold the work, only your needle and thread.
      - Use easy to stitch fabrics, such as cotton quilting fabrics (not batik), wool, linen, or even silk. Avoid all manmade fibers such as polyester as they are more difficult to stitch through.
      - warm your hands up first by washing your hands with warm water followed by a gentle massage with a tiny amount of lotion, preferably one without oil in it.
      - Stretch your fingers open when they start to get stiff and sore
      - Stitch for short periods of time. It's amazing what you can do even in 15 minutes!
      Hope this helps!

I can’t hear any of the outside lawn equipment noise.

Wonderful! It was really loud while filming at times. So glad it didn't come thru!
