Randy Rhoads was the guitar player for Quiet Riot originally. He left to join Ozzy Osbourne and the guitar player in this video, Carlos Cavazo replaced him. Carlos is a complete badass. It's tough to think of any guitar player who could replace Randy Rhoads but Carlos really delivered. Kickass band and kickass song!
In the late 1980's, when MTV was in its infancy, they had a show called "The Headbanger's Ball" where for about 3 hours on Saturday night they only played Heavy Metal Rock. Great times!
Wow.....this song brings back many great memories from my high school days. I will be honest, I was not a huge Quiet Riot fan but did appreciate their music. I think the two of you are going to love this band and their music. I loved watching the two of you head banging. LOL..Mia, you certainly know how to BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Another great video reaction. Have a great weekend. Love & Blessings 💖
I am sixty years old. I hope you young ladies can appreciate that for all the disapproval we got from our parents for listening to this back in the day, there is no profanity, no obscenities in the lyrics. I am so glad my mother has not heard the lyrics of the music that is played today. I am no moralist, been in the army when younger and am plenty familiar with foul language, yet cannot stand what is being played these days, not for the music, as that would be only taste, but for the denigrating language used by some “artists”.
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. The bassist you might recognize. Rudy Sarzo, started with Quiet Riot, then played with Ozzy Osbourne, then left Ozzy to rejoin Quiet Riot, then went on to join super group Whitesnake and then a bunch of other bands. He is a legend of a bass player. Chris
YEE GIRLS oh my God does this ever bring back some memories and you did this on my birthday thank you very much. Juliet they started calling the zombie out in you yes it was almost there. And Mia The rocker smacked me in the nose with her headphones you got to tell her to be careful with those things, LOL great job is always lots of fun
I can remember going to work and the young girls at work. just coming undone when the song with play. star dancing around and singing and stuff LOL good memories.. thanks girls for bringing that back to me. I could tell you guys started feeling it to
First heavy metal album to reach #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. This song reached #31 and their first single "Cum On Feel The Noize" reached #5. They were the first heavy metal songs to be played on Top 40 radio stations.
Wow wow wow, I was a junior in high school when this album came out. This reminds me of when I introduced my daughter to all the great music I grew up on. Watching you both react like my daughter Andrea did put a tear (OK, several) in my eyes. Keep up the awesome reactions (young) ladies! :)
It's a padded room where they put crazy people so they can't hurt themselves. The guy is wearing a straight jacket so he can't get his arms free. Btw, Ozzy got both his first guitarist (Randy Rhoads) and his second bassist (Rudy Sarzo, in this video) from Quiet Riot.
Great early 80’s metal band! Kevin DuBrow’s voice is outstanding!! Check out “Come On Feel The Noize”, “Slick Black Cadillac”, “Party All Night”, “Mama We’re All Crazy Now”. Love what you guys do and keep rockin!! 🤟🤟🤟
That is definitely a song that is still crank up when it comes on! Another head banger to check out is from Twisted Sister called "I Wanna Rock" or "We're Not Gonna Take It" also from Twisted Sister is a banger! So Bang Your Head!
Dude.....one of my earliest memories.......They were on Solid Gold. Me and my older brother looked at each other ..We then looked at our Mom and Dad behind us. Everyone recognized. The sound and the attitude was something different.
Not only is QR an excellent metal band, they were also a Hispanic band. Two of their hits, Metal Health and Cum On Feel The Noise were Slade covers. Although Slade is an excellent band, they never had the edge that QR did.
Metal Health (Bang Your Head) was a QR original. The other Slade cover "Mama We're All Crazee Now" was on their 2nd album Condition Critical. Kevin DuBrow was Jewish, Frankie Banali was Italian. Rudy Sarzo was born in Cuba and is part French. Carlos Cavazo is half Mexican.
I like when young people listen the same music who I listened when I was young. Kevin Dubrow was in the top ten of the best singers in heavy metal 80s. Best regards from Bournemouth, UK. "Cum on feel the noize" also is a very good song to reacts.
Saw them come into a TGiFridays while a buddy and I were eating. They were playing a small club in the mid 90s??? I gave them the thumbs up and mouthed their names. Singer Jevin DeBurow came over and told us we should hit up the show later that night to which we did. Real cool dude. The signed our shirts we bought and chatted with us a good 15min. Rip Kevin
The great Randy Rhodes, who played in this band, once said he did not think the band would make it. Turns out they did and had some really big hits. Hair Metal? White Snake Fool For Your Loving rules!
Quiet Riot was actually formed in 1974 by Randy Rhoads. When he left the band in 1979 to join Ozzy Osbourne's band, Kevin DuBrow actually took over and continued the band. Rudy Sarzo (the bassist) also hung around, then went to Ozzy as well, and back to Quiet Riot in time for Metal Health. DuBrow had the tall mic stand even back in the day ahaha. He also didn't gain that amazing yelling voice until this album (seriously, listen to him at the Whiskey a Go Go in 1979). If you want to catch up on some Quiet Riot "lore", you could always check out their first two albums "Quiet Riot I" and "Quiet Riot II", which were only released in Japan. Then there's their filmed shows at the Starwood and Whiskey a Go Go. It features Randy Rhoads, the one who got me to pick up a guitar, and his Laughing Gas solo is phenomenal. Highly recommend it.
Great reaction! You too are freaking AWESOME!! 😎🤟🏼RIP Kevin Dubrow ~ He was a helluva frontman/singer! Love this track! I first heard it as a little kid! My older brother (7yrs my sr.) played all the good music. I was lucky to hear metal music way before I was old enough to be aloud to on my own. 🤣
Wow...I was about your age when this came out😋 It was this and the "Pyromania" album from Def Leppard. That said, I didn't know about Maiden, Priest and UFO...yet🙄 That said, if I did, I would've never listened to this again🤣 By 1986 I discovered real metal and the floodgates ooened🤘🤘🤘

A great follow up to this would be W.A.S.P. - Wild Child or W.A.S.P. - Mean Man. They had so many great songs in the 80's, 90's and hell even in the 2000's.
Yes, More metal. Well done girls. 👍👍 This was the first metal album in number one position at billboard, this is a really really good album and a awesome song.
Simple stupid fun is even more important today than back when this came out. Entertainment is about fun not politics. Something happened to make people forget that.

AMEN or LIKEWISE!
Fastway. Nobody seems to know about them, but they had some great music.
"Say What You Will" is a good starting point.
Say what you will, YOU WILL!
Great suggestion. That song ROCKS!
There was a movie that had them.
