The 80's were the greatest time to be a young metalhead 🤘
Metal sucks major ass these days
@@erroristmusic No. Not all of it. Some modern bands out there are pretty amazing and retains some of it's good old school style,
I'm glad I grew up in the 80's and got to experience this as ut happened kids today have no idea what music is
I may be only 15 but I have to agree with you.
@@angelagaillard7757 You are officially a 50 something gen X now. Congratulations!
I am sixty years old. I hope you young ladies can appreciate that for all the disapproval we got from our parents for listening to this back in the day, there is no profanity, no obscenities in the lyrics. I am so glad my mother has not heard the lyrics of the music that is played today. I am no moralist, been in the army when younger and am plenty familiar with foul language, yet cannot stand what is being played these days, not for the music, as that would be only taste, but for the denigrating language used by some “artists”.
You just tapped into one of the biggest hits of the 80s. Everyone loves Quiet Riot.
Randy Rhoads was the guitar player for Quiet Riot originally. He left to join Ozzy Osbourne and the guitar player in this video, Carlos Cavazo replaced him. Carlos is a complete badass. It's tough to think of any guitar player who could replace Randy Rhoads but Carlos really delivered. Kickass band and kickass song!
In the late 1980's, when MTV was in its infancy, they had a show called "The Headbanger's Ball" where for about 3 hours on Saturday night they only played Heavy Metal Rock. Great times!
ONE OF THE BEST ROCK N ROLL BANDS.......GOT TO SEE THEM 1983 US FESTIVALS & THEY REALLY ROCKED THE CROWD.......R.I.P. ..... KEVIN.......!!!!
Wow.....this song brings back many great memories from my high school days. I will be honest, I was not a huge Quiet Riot fan but did appreciate their music. I think the two of you are going to love this band and their music. I loved watching the two of you head banging. LOL..Mia, you certainly know how to BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Another great video reaction. Have a great weekend. Love & Blessings 💖
YEE GIRLS oh my God does this ever bring back some memories and you did this on my birthday thank you very much. Juliet they started calling the zombie out in you yes it was almost there. And Mia The rocker smacked me in the nose with her headphones you got to tell her to be careful with those things, LOL great job is always lots of fun
I can remember going to work and the young girls at work. just coming undone when the song with play. star dancing around and singing and stuff LOL good memories.. thanks girls for bringing that back to me. I could tell you guys started feeling it to
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. The bassist you might recognize. Rudy Sarzo, started with Quiet Riot, then played with Ozzy Osbourne, then left Ozzy to rejoin Quiet Riot, then went on to join super group Whitesnake and then a bunch of other bands. He is a legend of a bass player. Chris
The 80s were so rockin' I love pretty much all music. You 2 are so genuine expressive. This planet need more people like you!
This was my introduction to metal in primary school and started my journey playing drums. 80s metal never ages.
AMEN or LIKEWISE!
I have been waiting for this! Such good memories from when I was in junior high. Love it!
Fastway. Nobody seems to know about them, but they had some great music.
"Say What You Will" is a good starting point.
Say what you will, YOU WILL!
Great suggestion. That song ROCKS!
There was a movie that had them.
@@shannonherb2048 Trick Ir Treat. I believe that the guy who played Skippy on Family Ties had the lead.
Fastway, oh yeah, the album/soundtrack they did for Trick or Treat is great stuff...
I was 13 when this came out in 1983! Great memories! 🔥🤘😊🇨🇦
I absolutely love this song. Thanks for doing a reaction to it.
First heavy metal album to reach #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. This song reached #31 and their first single "Cum On Feel The Noize" reached #5. They were the first heavy metal songs to be played on Top 40 radio stations.
Wow wow wow, I was a junior in high school when this album came out. This reminds me of when I introduced my daughter to all the great music I grew up on. Watching you both react like my daughter Andrea did put a tear (OK, several) in my eyes. Keep up the awesome reactions (young) ladies! :)
Thank you Alex for sharing! : )
I love you're guys innocence, "Is that a sound proof room?"
My brother had one of the last interviews with Kevin Dubrow, before his passing. On the Right to Rock podcast.
1982! What a year that was.
Great early 80’s metal band! Kevin DuBrow’s voice is outstanding!! Check out “Come On Feel The Noize”, “Slick Black Cadillac”, “Party All Night”, “Mama We’re All Crazy Now”. Love what you guys do and keep rockin!! 🤟🤟🤟
Thank you ladies for this reaction!!! My first 2 cassette tapes (google it lol) were Quiet Riot mental health and Run DMC King of rock...YEEEE!! 🌹🌹
It's a padded room where they put crazy people so they can't hurt themselves. The guy is wearing a straight jacket so he can't get his arms free.
Btw, Ozzy got both his first guitarist (Randy Rhoads) and his second bassist (Rudy Sarzo, in this video) from Quiet Riot.
Dude.....one of my earliest memories.......They were on Solid Gold. Me and my older brother looked at each other ..We then looked at our Mom and Dad behind us. Everyone recognized. The sound and the attitude was something different.
Saw them come into a TGiFridays while a buddy and I were eating. They were playing a small club in the mid 90s??? I gave them the thumbs up and mouthed their names. Singer Jevin DeBurow came over and told us we should hit up the show later that night to which we did. Real cool dude. The signed our shirts we bought and chatted with us a good 15min. Rip Kevin
So cute to see you two bangin your heads! Go to a rock concert and reeeeaaaally feel the power and magic!
straight jacket and a padded cell... half the world needs them
That is definitely a song that is still crank up when it comes on! Another head banger to check out is from Twisted Sister called "I Wanna Rock" or "We're Not Gonna Take It" also from Twisted Sister is a banger! So Bang Your Head!
Definitely a classic song, I also love their Slick Black Cadillac, rockin' song. Keep going, there's so much more for you to discover and enjoy.
First metal album to hit #1 on the billboard charts!
Great reaction girls…
And if you say it’s a soundproof room then it’s a soundproof room!
Breakthrough record hitting the top charts.... RIP vocalist... Rudy Sarzo was in Whitesnake and many other bands after disbanding
I seen Quiet Riot in the early 80s. Hell of a band in concert!
First metal band to sell over a million albums
A lot of ppl trash talk Quiet Riot
But I'm big fan
Great reaction! You too are freaking AWESOME!! 😎🤟🏼RIP Kevin Dubrow ~ He was a helluva frontman/singer! Love this track! I first heard it as a little kid! My older brother (7yrs my sr.) played all the good music. I was lucky to hear metal music way before I was old enough to be aloud to on my own. 🤣
I like when young people listen the same music who I listened when I was young. Kevin Dubrow was in the top ten of the best singers in heavy metal 80s. Best regards from Bournemouth, UK. "Cum on feel the noize" also is a very good song to reacts.
Quiet Riot was actually formed in 1974 by Randy Rhoads. When he left the band in 1979 to join Ozzy Osbourne's band, Kevin DuBrow actually took over and continued the band. Rudy Sarzo (the bassist) also hung around, then went to Ozzy as well, and back to Quiet Riot in time for Metal Health.
DuBrow had the tall mic stand even back in the day ahaha. He also didn't gain that amazing yelling voice until this album (seriously, listen to him at the Whiskey a Go Go in 1979). If you want to catch up on some Quiet Riot "lore", you could always check out their first two albums "Quiet Riot I" and "Quiet Riot II", which were only released in Japan. Then there's their filmed shows at the Starwood and Whiskey a Go Go. It features Randy Rhoads, the one who got me to pick up a guitar, and his Laughing Gas solo is phenomenal. Highly recommend it.
Yes to the Quiet Riot! I've been waiting and hoping for this! 👍
Not only is QR an excellent metal band, they were also a Hispanic band. Two of their hits, Metal Health and Cum On Feel The Noise were Slade covers. Although Slade is an excellent band, they never had the edge that QR did.
Metal Health (Bang Your Head) was a QR original. The other Slade cover "Mama We're All Crazee Now" was on their 2nd album Condition Critical. Kevin DuBrow was Jewish, Frankie Banali was Italian. Rudy Sarzo was born in Cuba and is part French. Carlos Cavazo is half Mexican.
The song that started it all for me
Finally some good ole QUIET RIOT , I'm not a loser and I ain't no weeper !!!!!
You 2 young ladies always bring joy to my face. Keep up the great reactions. Peace Love Unity Respect! We all belong need to remember we are all one in this world. 🌈✌👍🤘💙🎵🎶🎵🎶
Thank you Cory! That was beautifuly said! : )
The great Randy Rhodes, who played in this band, once said he did not think the band would make it. Turns out they did and had some really big hits. Hair Metal? White Snake Fool For Your Loving rules!
I had to laugh... Mia was headbanging so hard she nearly knocked the headphones off her head! Now THAT'S the proper way to headbang, young lady! Great job! And you're way ahead of your years too! I wasn't headbanging at 11 years old... I think I was about 15 when I started! Anyway, great job ladies! And as always, much love to you both! You guys ROCK!!
I started at 14, when I discovered Boston's first album.
@@alanfeldstein9761 Let me guess, I'll bet it was the song "Smokin'" that kicked it off, right?
@@centuryrox I liked Smokin', but actually the first song I heard was More Than a Feeling. Compared to the AM radio I had been listening to, More Than a Feeling was awesome.
@@alanfeldstein9761 ah ok. Great song of course, as is every song on that album! I just figured it was the faster, driving pace of Smokin' that would lead you to headbanging!
@@centuryrox It all starts with hard rock.
This song was #1 for a very long time back in the day.
It’s been 41 years still rockin’.,….Awesome song,…Metal Health-great album
Our junior high metal rock anthem way back 84 or 83
Yes, More metal. Well done girls. 👍👍 This was the first metal album in number one position at billboard, this is a really really good album and a awesome song.
Me gusta verlas chicas siempre con bandas épicas saludos desde Argentina
Quiet riot was the first band to have a number 1 selling heavy metal album in the us
Saw this band in concert in 1983. Awesome 😎
Randy Rhoads was originally in this band before moving on to Ozzy.
ROFLMAO you cracked me up with the seat belt
The very next song is their smash hit. Come on feel the noise.
Fyi : The lead singer (RIP) his brother is Dr.Dubro from BOTCHED. Also another great song to react to is COME ON FEEL THE NOISE.
Ozzies original guitarist randy rhoads was this bands original guitarist. Carlos cavaza the bassist ended up going to whitesnake.
One of the songs that served to my introduction into 80s metal...
Metal Anthem of the 80ties....and every Metal Head of that Period knows it for sure.....please check out KROKUS from Switzerland next !!!!
Simple stupid fun is even more important today than back when this came out. Entertainment is about fun not politics. Something happened to make people forget that.
Just another great metal song to crank up in the car
I’m so happy that your reaction changed partways through because this album was the anthem to my university years. Kevin had such an amazing voice and Randy was a great guitarist.
fun facts...Randy Rhoades was in this band, but auditioned for Ozzy and got the job...just a little history.
Awesome selection 😎🇺🇸💥
I have no doubt an asylum padded would be sound proof to as any poor soul strapped in such a jacket would be yelling pretty loud ☝ i am 54yo in August & i vividly recall being in Year 9 at Alice Springs High School (Australia) & All the cool kids had this album (& Yes you 2 are Cool in my books) & a little tip from a Patreon member of 'The Warning !!!', get ready to be reacting to a 'NEW & Very Heavy song' SOON 🙃
This song has a real AC⚡️DC sort of feel to it. Always great reactions!
A great follow up to this would be W.A.S.P. - Wild Child or W.A.S.P. - Mean Man. They had so many great songs in the 80's, 90's and hell even in the 2000's.
Can’t do mean man dude! It’s got cussing. You got to remember that they are kids.
Flood's of memories, these guys are old school Metal!!!
I thought I heard one of the young ladies say - this one is old! ha ha, yes it is. Love your videos.
Great album came out when i was a teenager like MTV hard rock and Metal music 24-7 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
I saw this first on a show called " Friday night videos" when we had to wait for music videos and our aunt was babysitting and let us stay up late.
You kids... lol
82-83 I remember hearing this and it changed my mind about music lol...I've heard stuff since that changed me again lol but this was a fun time...
I got this album back when I was Mia’s age. Played that record like every day. Such a great band!
Yea, same here, this is the band that got me into heavy metal.
The lead singer Kevin Debrow's brother is one of the doctors on the TV show called Botched.
This was the very first metal album to go platinum.
I met this lineup of Quiet Riot.Really cool guys to me and my friends. This song is like the international anthem for all hard rock fans. Loved your reaction Dana's Faith. Wishing you an excellent 4th of July weekend. 🇺🇲🗽🎆😎🤘
Kevin Dubrow's voice is unique, metal icons in the 80's. react to his other theme: Come On Feel The Noise.. !!!
I was 18 year's old when this song came out.
This came out when I was in high school and I got to see them live when I was in my 30's :)
A sound-proof room? Oh,Juliet, you are so adorable! :)
I think I remember this from 'way back when' and it, and the band, pretty much passed me by. Nothing wrong with it, by any means; I'd likely not go to a concert, but I would also not leave if I was there - if you see what I mean :)
This is where the "hair metal " began
Wow...I was about your age when this came out😋 It was this and the "Pyromania" album from Def Leppard. That said, I didn't know about Maiden, Priest and UFO...yet🙄 That said, if I did, I would've never listened to this again🤣 By 1986 I discovered real metal and the floodgates ooened🤘🤘🤘
The two cutest little punksters 🤗🤗
Quiet Riot doesn't get enough credit for their music, despite going #1 on the charts w/ the 'Metal health' record in 1983... thanks to this single and the Slade cover 'Cum on feel the noize'... Subsequent records 'Condition critical' and 'QR III' didn't do well, and Quiet Riot split up by 1989. They did reform in 1993... they carried on even after the death of lead singer Kevin DuBrow (R.I.P.😷) in 2007... Drummer Frankie Banali brought in new members to sing lead, until he passed away from cancer in 2020.
Quiet Riot was originally formed by guitarist Randy Rhoads (who became Ozzy Osbourne's first guitarist) who passed away in 1982. Kevin DuBrow (vocals) kept Quiet Riot active w/ Frankie Banali (drums), Carlos Cavazo (guitar) and Rudy Sarzo (bass) when the band broke big w/ the 'Metal health' album.
After Frankie Banali's passing, Quiet Riot still plans to tour w/ longtime bassist Chuck Wright, guitarist Alex Grossi, vocalist Jizzy Pearl & Johnny Kelly on drums.
Other Quiet Riot classics: "The wild & the young" ... 'Party all night' ... 'Condition critical' ... 'Sign of the times' ... 'Thunderbird'...🤘🤘🔥
I’m glad someone reacted to this. This is the the 80’s kids rock vibe song. Most of us wanted music to bang our heads to, but don’t take that literally.
The things we did back in the 80’s with these songs as well others playing continuous thruout the nights days on in we wore this music out
This brings me back to when I was 16
Great reaction as always, YEE.
very cool. my cat needs a sound proof room juliet. mia that laugh sounded like yours when you find the hidden oreo package that juliet hasnt seen yet :P happy 4th gurls. side sad note= the singer and drummer have passed away since the video. the bass player still looks the same. he never ages.
Randy Rhoads and Rudy Sarzo started the band, and then left to play for Ozzy Osbourne when he went solo.
This album is what opened the door for 80s metal. Record companies thought rock was dead but some smart person signed Quiet Riot and this album went straight to #1 and the floodgates were opened.
It's a rubber room. It was so the person couldn't hurt himself. Tuve 17 años de edad cuando salió esta canción!
Excellent choice girl's!
Man this whole album is awesome! I still have this on “cassette!” Well I know you young ladies don’t know what a “cassette “ is! Is like the CD 💿 of today’s! Great tune that’s for sure!🤟😎🤘 the singer passed away in 2007 of an overdose! Very sad 😢 just when they where thinking of reuniting for a tour! Rip🙏Kevin Dubrow! Gone too soon! Loved your reaction!🤟😂👍yep! We used to have all kinds of great music and musicians in the 80s!👌😎👍forgot to mention that the great guitarist player Randy Rhoads, died young in a plane crash in 1982, he was 25! he was considered as one of the best guitarist ever! Rip🙏
Randy Rhodes played with Quiet Riot before Ozzy.
Hi girls I don’t know this band very good but it was really nice he also have a raspy voice a little bit like AC DC keep on rocking girls and can’t wait to see a next video bye girls!
Why is Mia so adorable all the time lmao
They're both adorable, and have very likeable personalities!
I was supposed to open for Quiet Riot back in the 90s but the club burnt down before the show.
Nice shirts ladies! Great job!
It's not a soundproof room, its a "padded" room for the crazies!
