If you're talking about chase dodge, then yes, one of the examples I show in a lance vs. axe matchup uses a chase dodge to create tempo with a bait option chase dodging can set you up for reads, baits, etc. However, depending on the situation you could get punished for using a chase dodge a good example is when you try to rush into a opponent and give them a free nlight I would only recommend using a chase dodge if you either grantee tempo or a hit off your opponent if there's a way they can punish you for it then it's not a safe option which obviously isn't something we wanna risk
