Soooo….. I’m very glad this video exists. Following it step by step and pausing as we went took us 14 hours. 🤣 it made me wonder how long it actually took to film. I highly suggest following this video, use the paper manual (it has pictures of the actual true to size screws so you can match them up and make sure you’re using the right ones), and also the robot lady instructions. Between the three different instructions, we had hardly any problems. It’s a lot of work but it’s a great marriage builder. Or destroyer. You choose. It’s like a “choose your own adventure” build. Good luck!

This video was immensely helpful. That being said, I would have done the ridge line on the roof differently. Instead of putting all the pieces together on the ground and then trying to maneuver a 20 foot piece onto the roof, I would recommend start at one end and assemble it in pieces on the roof from the inside. This will help with applying pressure from the outside to better secure the panels together

I have the 15x8 and I did not get spring locks like this one that drill in. There was also no self tapping screw part for the slide in, it just slid in and then the middle latches were bolted on. Also had a way tougher time getting those hinge tubes in than in this video. They went in about half way barely and then had to be hammered the rest of the way.. The floor didn't snap together flush (it should snap together different, tighter and not require screws that stick up) needs to be redesigned. Also some of my roof panels, when the screws went in you could see soft spots on the top, like the plastic was worn. Its a really great shed but just needs a better design for some of the parts. There should also be alternative instructions included if you want to move the middle doors to the left or the right.

A well done video. Thank you.
The part I'm trying to figure out is how to build the shed so I can minimize the number of hours when I will need to hire the other 2 guys. For example, putting all the trusses is place before the roof panels go on. Building the skylight ahead of time, before assistance is needed. I wonder if someone has done that. That would be a good video for lifetime to make.

I’m constructing my shed this week. I built the roof trusses, gables, doors, and skylights prior to starting the floor and walls. That work alone took about 5-6 hours. We’ll see how long the rest of the build goes but hoping the pre-work helps reduce total build time.

This is do-able, but it will be a lot of improvising on your end. You will have to make sure that the bushing on the floor to connect the door (reference section 9) are where you want the doors. @@LifetimeProductsAssembly I was able to do it. Had to put both window walls right next to eachother on the right, then ckn and ckk to either side of the door opening. The floor threw me off for a min but I just had to flip a panel. Watching the 20x8 UA-cam video helped alot. I think lifetime needs to redesign the floor though. One, it shouldn't have screws, it should snap together more flush. Mine has small gaps towards the ends but the middles are tight. It seems to me that the long side doors should be just like the short side (have the notches on both pieces of floor where the doors swing into eachother not just the one on the left and also have the inside bottom lock go into a closed plastic hole not an open one). And even though all is level the doors close tight. I need to call about getting the new, smaller slide in pieces I've read about on other comments. Appreciate the reply. Love the rough cut look. Pricey but I like it.

If wildlife wants in somewhere, they'll get in. You'll never fully keep critters out if they have an attraction to the place. Like if you're storing feed/seed in a loose container, they'll smell it can chew. Best to keep stuff like that sealed in tight canisters. Also, poison traps near by will help keep things like mice away. Just be careful if you have things like chipmunks that you care about as that can hurt them as well. I'm always fighting squirrels, raccoons, mice, chipmunks, feral cats, moles, etc. from getting into things I don't want them in.
