- this is my first time watching Encanto (2021)
The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift -- every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.

I can't believe I have to say this... but the line I said at 1:58... im not actually calling the movie racist, im saying it within the context of her not getting her own powers... its called deadpan humor.
You really gotta clarify lmao, thats so chronically online that you have to explain this to people. People are stupid
Hey Ralphie are you phillipino/penoy just asking cause I caught what you said about pointing with lips lol
lol yes I am
Im part im super mixed i got everything native, philipino, latino, white and more im super mutt but I had to take a guess between lip pointing, the humor of my boy jo koy lol, and an instrument in the background I had to shoot my shot at a guess. Im a let down in that category of cant sing or dance lmao but I can point with lips like a boss LMAO
Loved your reaction and thanks for the reply also just subscribed
We can all agree that majority of us can relate to Mirabel and Bruno and it hurts as hell.
This moment in Disney movies when you can't fight the tears back anymore😂😂
“I’m gonna try my best to not curse”
Not even a millisecond later….
“The digital affects on this are fucking awesome and crazy”
@5:42 You saying "I can't be my authentic self" in a film where half the problem is everybody trying to suppress their authentic selves just struck me as really ironic 🤣
The story was great so many can relate specifically being Latina.
She has a gift too , she's like her GrandMother , she can talk to the house & her door his the House door not just a room in it . It's a really beautiful story . The pressure to always solve problem or always being there to help people for "Louisa" , being Perfect & do what your family want you to do & not fallowing your own dream for Isabella , Bruno who was innoncent , he was just telling the future not making things happened but people have seing it in the other way ... Poor Bruno . Love all this crazy funny beautiful familly
*Luisa
She doesn’t have one
@@harmonythompson1201 it was confirmed she does lmaoo
@@kaitlynnambrose4823 who confirmed it?
@@kaitlynnambrose4823 i dont think it was confirmed, she doesnt have a gift she just ties the whole family together because.
This story made me cry because of the generational trama
1:58 I was just enjoying watching then I burst into fits of laughter--that needs to be clipped BADLY.
Pointing with your lips is 100000% a thing in Colombia 😂 we get very good at figuring out where our mothers are pointing since we're very young. Idk about the rest of Latin America, but in Colombia that is definitely a thing lmaoooo
We do it in the Caribbean too 😂😂😂
A lot of North American indigenous cultures do that too
"Spiders, spiders! Why couldn't it be follow the butterflies?"
oh hello Ron
That part where Mirabel was in Bruno's room, I don't get how she got BACK across the canyon part and down the stairs.
Well she could probably climb down and up since it's not that deep
@@ot7biasedmashups the cliff she swung over was very deep.
@@BoeJiden473 THANK YOU, that is what I meant, and how did she get a hold of the rope to swing BACK across ?
@@buildaggedonarmanaziie4462 very good question. Lol
@@buildaggedonarmanaziie4462 maybe the tucan helped her
I specifically came to comment about how, "Oh for real? That's....in a way that's kinda racist," make me cry of laughter and choke on my tea.
I don't get it, do you, since you're laughing an all? Because I don't get the joke in the tiniest sense.. how's it funny? What's racist?
@@fredericksaxton9782 its not racist its just deadpan humor
Your reaction was enchanting...as we know the movie was, too. Kudos on keeping the 'language' to a minimum. I know you can't include songs for copyright reasons, but seeing how much you enjoyed this, I must recommend "In the Heights". It's another Lin-Manuel Miranda musical tour-de-force with Hispanic roots. I've yet to see anyone react to it.
She was the gift.. she brought the family back together..she helped the little boy when he needed her..she showed the strong sister she can slow down and not carry so much.. she showed the flower sister that she doesn’t have to be perfect all the time and can be herself..she brought Bruno back home.. she helped the cousin get her guy and showed the grandma that the family is more then their gifts..that’s why her magic door was the actual door to the whole house..
Encanto is one of the best FAMILY movies I've seen in a long, long time.
Probably the best ever made
When the house waves after it fell apart 😭
BEST DISNEY MOVIE EVER
By now I've watched this movie so many times, and reactions to it, and I always cry when I see Abuela's story. The most heartbreaking thing is a lot of grandmothers and grandfathers have gone through the same thing but we don't know it, because they don't talk about it, just like this grandmother.
Dos Arugitas emotionally damaged most of the adult viewers including me 👀
the feels
1:58 my man what??? AJAHAHHAJAHHJAHA
That introduction was flawless
Abre Los Ojos, MIRA-bel
At the end, the grand daughter with the glasses saw herself through the reflection of the doorknob. She understood she was part of the family miracle.
I love this movie about family.
glad you enjoyed it, very fun reactions
I always love your reactions! I'm just getting to this one because I just watched the movie for the 1st time with the hubby and kids. I sobbed all through this movie. My husband usually makes fun of me when I cry at movies (which is quite frequently) but I don't think he had the heart to today because I cried so much. He says it's the most I've ever cried at a movie. That's not exactly true but I only remember My Sister's Keeper hitting me as hard as this one! I LOVED it though. Just keep being you because you are awesome!
There are those who get it… and those who pretend to get it…. You get it. ♥️
I was glad you seemed to be rendered speechless for large parts of this! It's definitely that level of amazing where sometimes there are just no words! 🙏❤
A lot of reactors talk through too much of this movie and they. miss. so. much.
You caught everything because you watched everything! Much appreciated!! 😊🥰
If you haven’t already you NEED to react to raya and the last dragon 😭 it’s an emotion rollercoaster.
yeah that was actually really good, also had a good message just like encanto
I'm glad someone else thinks that that last waggle was Casita saying good bye. That was my impression as well, but I haven't seen anyone else that mentioned it.
And no, you're not the only one getting misty eyed, I don't watch Encanto without tissue handy.
He said open my eyes and that was about the the the song about her and that’s why and that’s how you put the miracle open your eyes and you heard that in the song so her needs to save the
Great intro 😂
I’m pretty sure that the house is Abuela’s husband’s spirit
Wonderfull Job really 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!!🤟🏼
Man looks extra fine today
Waiting for you to say "Amazing" is the most stressful thing. X-D
Please please react to Coco and then tell me what your fav Disney movie is - cuz I’m so torn. Moana, Coco and Encanto are at the very top of my list. Didn’t get to enjoy them as a little girl but sharing it with my daughter is so much more special. Strong female leads, the cultural representation, the focus on family, ancestors and heritage is EVERYTHING 💛
Encanto is nowhere near Moana and coco imo. Pacing was rough and they kept building up plots that were disappointing in the end (Bruno)

"In away that's kind of racist?" That point we learned you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
Its called a joke
That point we learned you have no sense of humor.
@@bluemoonmichael6127 the joke was it has no correlation to whats actually happening... thats why it doest make sense. Hense the joke.. you're either too young to understand that or you don't have a sense of humor.

Who agrees that abuela is actually so annoying💀 I know that she's not a crazy villain but I think a ton of us can relate to her being a family member. She really pisses me off, especially because she could have saved the family if she just listened to Mirabel. It's so relatable...
I don't... It's not difficult to understand her... Specially when the security of everybody in the town depends on the Encanto... It's a fortress that avoids that the violence outside get inside, kills half of its population, take women, take children to fight with them and makes them scape again if they remain alive.
You must be young if you came out thinking Abuela is annoying. She is a woman who lived through war. She had traumatic experiences that have shaped her life.
@@schuylermorgan9627 Hey I may have understood her and felt bad, but she was STILL annoying with how she acted, you can't just deny that. Trauma is NOT an excuse to hurt this family! She made everyone unhappy, and destroyed the family in which also destroyed the magic. And MANY can relate to stubborn, cold parental figures like her, they ARE annoying cause they never listen to anyone but themselves even when it's at the detriment to their own family...
I’m so confused, what were you saying is racist and how?
Hey hypocrite you wearing glasses too
You do know that it was a joke right?
Racist?, there its possibly the most racial inclusive Disney movie ever...
2:01
its called a joke
@@sofi3535 Its not... he says in a very serious way, not in a "funny one".
i said it in a serious way on purpose lol.... it was a joke.
I mean he wasn't calling the movie racist. He waa saying that within the context of the movie, Mirabel not getting a gift was racist. I literally have a friend who says "yo that's racist" at some of the most random things. He's clearly joking. Same thing here.
Also, I suggest you look up "deadpan humor".
