Welcome to the community and more importantly welcome to a fantastic hobby! I’m so glad you enjoy the content and hope you truly have a lifetime of joy from Comics…
I love all comics equally! lol High-grade or extremely low-grade, as long as you can tell what book it is I’d probably pick it up if I wanted it and if the price was right. I’ve never tried that archival tape before. I’ll have to look into that. Another great video as always John!
It depends on what age the comic is from. I dont mind Brave and the Bold vol 1 issues being low to mid grades, but I wouldn't want those same grades for modern books.
Brother, I really appreciate it! As you can probably tell, I’m just trying to keep it real and share how much fun comics can be…without drama. I really do appreciate you my friend, thank you again!
My lowest graded comics are JIM 83 at a 1.8 and Daredevil 1 at a 1.0. For me its about the presentation. One book I really want to add to the collection one day is Avengers 1 and I would be totally happy with a 2.0 as long as it looks pretty good. I dont like writing on the front cover, excessive fading, huge chunks of covermissing (Although I made that exception on my JIM 83).
Loving this channel. Thank you John for all your content. I log in each day too see if you uploaded something new 😆
My brother! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and I am so glad you are enjoying the content!
That Green lantern golden age is really cool. I have an early Green lantern as well. Always cool to see those
I agree! Those Golden-Age GLs aren’t cheap either. I’m always just glad to own a copy!
2.0 as long as the book is fully attached. I've seen books as high as 3.5 with detached staples., I don't understand how.
I'm New to the comic book collecting I love the advice coming from a collector point of view

You are Spot on! I agree. What I can live with for older books in terms of grade, is not what I would keep for a Modern book. Excellent point!
Love the content mate a new fan from the UK 🇬🇧

You have some true gems my friend! I’d be happy to own them in any grade- thank you for sharing
@@Johnthecomicguy yeah. Certain books, it doesnt matter what grade they are. If you have them, then that is enough.
