No joke, the $20 Casio watch you're wearing is super well respected amongst people who have a genuine interest in watches. There are watches costing tens of thousands with less functionality.
Sad that Mane is the only one on this list that looks good with his spending. We need more like him.

@@mancuniangamecat8288 shockingly I am aware of this, that’s why I said he was the only one on this list who looked good. Zaha, Salah, Ozil are just 3 others who give away vast amounts regularly and also give time and attention to help others. We need more like them and more appearing on lists like this.
Beckham, Ozil, Salah I think are a few off the top of my head that also give a lot back. Bale was making businesses so not all bad.

My nephew signed for Leeds Utd at 15 he was payed around £25000 for 2 years! The money was ridiculous but that was back when Leeds were giving money to anyone! ALSO a player at Leeds went to negotiate a new contract- his agent wanted £7000 a week, the opening offer was £18000 a week that was Leeds United in the early 2000’s

I agree with you. If I had 1.5 million, I'm living off of that for the rest of my life, rather than being silly and buying death traps on four wheels. I'd buy a basic detached house. Then I'd split it into 50 lump sums (say 25K) and not go over each of those sums of money each year. I wouldn't be rich, far from it. But I wouldn't have to worry about debt over small things.
Or you could get a better job and do that anyway but with 60k a year
Invested wisely you can easily make £45'000 to £60'000 per year just in interest on £1.5million (3%-4% interest) money makes money

When people start buying million dollar cars like birthday cakes, you know they're making far too much money.
Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous? This sort of thing (the watch too) doesn't impress me. The lad who helped his poor village impressed me. I hate how society rewards useless things like ball kickers far more than people who really make a difference.
Yes, stupidly expensive trinkets never impress me. Buying art, sponsoring music or education, etc, or those putting money into community projects are people I admire far more (like Ryan Reynolds with Wrecsam Football or Marcus Rashford supporting free school lunches). I bought a knock-off watch at a bazar in Casablanca during a school trip in 1962. It cost me the equivalent of 25 cents. It lasted me over 25 yrs.!!

Most of them have sizeable property portfolios and equitable investments, lots of players get on the payroll of their old clubs too as ‘ambassadors’ - £200k+ a year for a week or two of appointments, as well as the players who are in coaching and management. Media is a big payer, if you aren’t a pundit or commentator, a few panel show appearances and a reality show can bank roll you for a couple of years if you are smart. You can also sell some of the dumb shit you bought when you were on 400k(+bonuses+brand association) a week
This just say one thing to me, they can EASILY and SHOULD lower the price to go see football matches live. And It also says they get payed 99% too much money.. (all sportsmen/women). The money could go to so much better things..

He might pimp out on himself but he also pimps out on those closest to him and have done a lot to communities also. I feel a huge amount of high earner footballers give back to their communities (African especially)

That was really pissing me off for the entire video. Costed is a word, but the narrator's usage in this situation is grammatically incorrect. Coated is only correct when used in situations where a price has being calculated, as in "the project was costed at €1,000,000”.

It's insane, not just how much footballers get paid, but sports stars in general, get paid to kick/throw/bat a ball around.
But then, where should the money go they generate? Certainly not to the owners either. I know people don't like the idea of taxes and money going to the government, but think of all the good that could be done with all that money with a RESPONSIBLE government.

Rolex are a very good investment and can be passed down from generation to generation as they dont run on batteries but have a system where moving your wrist charges the rolex. As a watch investor / collector I would highly recommend them as an investment. Hate you break it to you but that Casio will probably not even last another 5 years aha. Audemars Piguet, And Richard Millie are some of the highest returning investments I have ever made apart from crypto.
I've been driving 32 years, and had my own car for at least 29 or 30 of those years. I have spent £6,000 in total on every can I have owned in that period. I did spend about 6 months driving a car my dad bought... £200 it cost him and he got £400 for it despite me spilling 5 litres of gloss in the boot whilst I had!
This video is ridiculous because the man narrating it is really trying to sound professional and smart, but he keeps saying "costed." Are you 4 my man?
There was some situations where he could have actually used costed if he had rephrased his statement, but he didn't use it correctly even once. It was really annoying.

I know plenty of people will like these videos as they love the football, and hate on my comment but I preferred your others so for now I will just watch the Anna and JT channel.
The vast majority of Premier League footballers are a little more sensible with their money but there are that small minority that are massively disconnected from the reality of the real world.
What I find amazing is a fair few are now getting their houses robbed & they don’t seem to have any form of security to protect themselves, even a simple security/guard dog that is trained to protect when required would cost peanuts in the grand scheme of things yet they are losing millions of pounds worth of jewellery & collectibles without any real fight being put up.
First thing I’d be doing if I had anywhere near that sort of money is getting myself a protection dog (or two).
