I am so glad they sold me a ladder I have to drill with my non drilling roof rack...
*** Just a heads up to anybody buying this ladder and hasn't installed it yet. The shape of the top plate with 3M shown in this video and written instructions available on CBI/Prinsu's site versus what you may receive are significantly different in size/shape.
Because of this difference, the initial measurement given of "4 inches from cap" is wrong and everything else will install too far to the left.... including, you know, those very permanent holes you drill into your pride and joy.
Don't make the same mistake I made by trusting the manufacturers provided instructions.
Now that’s a sexy ladder. Just bought a ‘22 4Runner ORP. Might get this for the rig. 🔥

What’s the weight capacity/load rating for this Prinsu ladder? For example, the C4 ladder weight limit is 250lbs. Just curious what weight limit the Prinsu ladder has.
Do you have to drill in order to finish the install??
How thick is the ladder at the top? I have a roof too tent that leaves me with little room when i flip the trunk.
Half my 3M adhesive ended up coming off on the lift gate. Any idea on how I should proceed to fix that?
I have a 270 awning. Do you know if the ladder will fit under the awning…when it’s deployed
So we're guessing it would get in the way but we aren't 100% sure on that one.
Does the ladder need to be installed on the drivers side or can I install mine on the passenger (right side)?
These are only designed to work on the Drivers side. Theres angles in the design that wouldn't allow it to fit correctly on the passenger side.
4” over from what bro?
The edge of the hatch molding. Look at the beginning of the video. You can see where he put the tape measurer.
Kind of a joke- missing bolts/ pieces-- mounted originally at 4" off the edge like the video says and it didn't work- had to pry off the tape- scraped my car- moved to 5 1/2 inches- had to go to Ace Hardware to complete - used extra tape to lift up an area- Either way it took like 4 hours with trips- Hopefully it doesn't rust like I have heard from others after I bought it:(.
Why didn't it work at 4"? I have mine coming so I'm trying to plan out what I want to do with it.
Totally lost me at “DRILL”
Can I install ladder on the right side instead of the left side of the tailgate?
@@davidbasil4065 No it is not designed to work on that side of the vehicle.
i bought this ladder and within a week this ladder RUSTED here in canada ... what the hell
look like home made ladder
