      @AmiyaPrasadMD  7 місяців тому

      Hi @antoniokocevski473,
      While it should be OK to wash your scalp, you should coordinate with your transplant surgeon who knows details of how your surgery was performed, and knows if there are any issues with your scalp after surgery. I hope this helps you.

    Hello Sir, I have under eye fat bags...not of high volume, but enough to be noticed. So, shall I go costly lower eye lid blepharoplasty or is it better to try out CO2 laser with PRP first,...kindly advice me on this.

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  6 місяців тому

      Hi @PavanKumar-mh9bs,
      I hope you understand that I would have to diagnose that your eye bags are caused by prolapsed orbital fat before I can recommend lower eyelid blepharoplasty, and I only perform lower blepharoplasty without removing skin, or making an incision on the eyelid skin. Most doctors perform lower eyelid surgery with a skin incision, and often remove skin, which are both more prone to complications. That said, CO2 laser, and PRP are skin treatments that can't treat lower eyelid fat prolapse safely, so it's not a recommended procedure for eye bags. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/cU0B9-IahGk/v-deo.html

    Dr i completed 5 and half months after hair transplant. my hair is growing well today my child 8 yrs old pulled my transplanted hairs a bit tightly i felt pain but no bleeding pain go away in a minute will this affect the result of my hair transplant sir

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  7 місяців тому

      Hi @user-mw2sx6cs7t,
      It is highly unlikely that your child pulling on your hair has affected your hair transplant. If you are worried about it, you can follow up with your transplant surgeon who can examine your scalp for any issues. I hope this helps you.

    Would you be able to take a patient from out of state? I am from New Hampshire and there are not a lot of options here.

      I don’t see why not? You might want to call his office to schedule a consultation. He may be able to do a virtual consultation before any procedure is scheduled. Then you would have to make your own accommodations in the location of his practice and plan for aftercare.

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD

      Hi @Jesska700,
      Certainly, we do serve out-of-state, and international patients every day in our practice. It is a good idea to have your initial consultation virtually on Skype or FaceTime before you travel. The consultation fee can be fully applied to the cost of treatment. You can reach out to our offices, or contact us through our websites to make an appointment.
      Our offices are located in Manhattan, New York City which you can call at (212) 265-8877; Garden City, Long Island at (516) 742-4636; or Vienna, Virginia at (703) 356-1336. You can also reach us through www.prasadcosmeticsurgery.com, www.puffyeyes.com, or www.eyelifts.com by filling out a contact form, and we will get back to you. I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello sir i have a question you mention in one of your Video that weight loss effect orbital fat so does weight gain also increase orbital fat im in my early 20s struggling with a little bit hollow under the eyes pls suggest any diet cream or exercise

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  6 місяців тому

      Hi @anaya1817,
      Sorry, but you misheard me in the video. I actually said the opposite because the role of orbital fat is for eyeball cushioning and protection, not for calorie storage, so orbital fat is not affected by weight loss, weight gain, or diet. I normally treat hollowness under the eyes with volume enhancement using an injectable hyaluronic acid filler, but you can refer to this video about other treatments for hollow under eyes - ua-cam.com/video/SF1O-tPVGO0/v-deo.html I hope this clarifies things for you

      Hi@@anaya1817,
      If you have health issues, which I am completely unaware of, and I haven't diagnosed, you should see a local doctor to properly diagnose it, then they can recommend treatment. I hope this helps you.

    Hi Dr parsad, what’s your opinion about ultra clear laser ? I heard it can be used for all skin types .

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi @adeelaafzal2725,
      While I don't use that particular laser in my practice, it’s important to remember that the laser itself does not cause complications like facial volume loss, nor does it determine successful results, but rather the experience and judgment of the doctor using the laser or other device. The device is just a tool, and it’s the doctor’s judgment using the tool that separates great results from ineffectiveness, or potential complications. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html

    My doc just got the Tetra Co2/Cool peel.
    I was going to get fractional co2 but she wants me to wait for the new machine, after training. I’m always worried about “new equipment” 😂.
    I want to tighten some minor loose skin on upper and lower lids. So now I am not sure which way to go. Cool peel several times or co directly to co2 My doc is an ocular plastic surgeon. Which way would you go? I’m not worried about down time Good to be retired 😂. I do however have really nice skin for my age and do not want
    To worry about damage from a laser if that makes sense

    • @AmiyaPrasadMD
      @AmiyaPrasadMD  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi @pnevlud ,
      It's your doctor who determines results, and avoids complications, not the device. The device is just a tool in their experienced hands, so finding a doctor you trust is important. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html
