  • I'm getting together with two friends once a week for 3 hours to work on video games. The only catch is that we don't know how to make video games. This is the culmination of four weeks of 3 hour sessions. After making a 'game' with a textbox and dialogue system, and collisions and a top down character, we are moving on to a new project. This one was to emulate the aesthetic of animal crossing/ pokemon, and our next project is going to be a first person shooter against rats in a sewer.
    'Broken Games' was a name we landed on at some point because we thought it was funny, but it very well may change

    I'm tired of all these mainstream, bi-directional teleporting doors. But also actually really cool what all got done in just 12 hours of work between 2-3 people

      We didnt have the budget for multi-directional doors ;-;

      it's a really rewarding experience, hence why we've added it to the game
