I swear, if a thief gets into Emiles house, they are going to be very confused and not sure if they should steal anything from the display. Because on one hand it’s a very nice setup and it seems important, on the other hand it is a bunch of weird little man-head plushies on legs and plastic toys xD
8:56 Whoa, those look exactly like the Mario 64 paintings that I've been making this past year or so? I guess Chugga bought a couple from me and I had no idea lol! Very cool to see them displayed.
Adam Rhodes, rabbit feces have loads of fibres if I remember correctly. Their food doesn't get completely digested. I don't know whether it's good or bad for them though. Based on what I know, which is fairly limited knowledge, feces are generally not a good thing to eat. Probably has to do with bacteria, and a general lack of nutrients compared to food, and also waste products in it. I've eaten a lot of things in my life, including bugs and snakes, but feces... I've intentionally avoided that.
Crobat312 it should still be 100%, but the percentages for anyone else should as a result be lowered instead. It's all about how things are in relation to others.
Honestly, I've been waiting for this (and next couple) vlog(s) since January when I heard you guys visited Emile and Masae. It's always so great to see those two, I was actually giddy the whole time I watched this.
I love how Emile has all his different youtube icons framed on the wall commemorating all his different LPs. Its honestly my fav part that we saw, its just a nice subtle touch
Emile: "You wouldn't know that they're from IKEA" Actually, imma be honest here, I took one look at those shelves and thought, "That's from IKEA, isn't it?" And I don't even live anywhere near an IKEA. XD
I'm suprised no one mentioned this but I'm laughing so hard that they mentioned a tissue case for mother three. It's like they knew that game slaps you in the face with the feels
I am honestly pretty envious. 😅 Mother is my all time favorite series and my collection consists of the EarthBound cartridge, pins, shirts and amiibos.
I really love how Chuggaa seems to have grown more comfortable being seen in person as time has gone on. He used to be very awkward and uncomfortable (hell he still might be) on the vlog but now he seems more comfortable. It's always nice to see!
I just got Mother 3 on repro and its such an amazing game. I watched Chugga's mother 3 LP years ago but forgot just about everything. Emile is the reason I got into Earthbound and the Mother games and I'm not disappointed in the slightest. Such an awesome collection. Also, thanks Stephen for recording it! Looked like you guys had a ton of fun.
Earthbound, the game and its series that Emile introduced me too, now I’m hoping to get the mother 3 fan translation. Despite it no being his favorite game I love it now, ALSO THE BEGINNING WAS HINAWAS SONG.... also giant mr. Saturn is god.
Emile's LPs for the mother series were the first ones I ever watched and mostly responsible for my love of the series, though I am nowhere near his level. Thank you for sharing this with us, it's really fun to see.
Shameless plug, but I sell repro Franklin Badges on my eBay shop. I believe I sent a pair to you and Mal with a letter. If you see this, I'm curious to know what you thought of them!
Is he trying to obtain EVERYTHING EarthBound related? What about the original Franklin Badge from the Mother Encyclopedia contest, or the keychain Mr. Saturn plush? There's also the Eaglelander-style PK Yomega, the NES-era Nintendo Powers with articles on Earth Bound, and the Cheese Strings Ness card. I'm floored by his achievements in obtaining other elusive items. The works of Eyes5, the Mr. Saturn pins from Fangamer, and boxed versions of every game are impressive! I wish Fangamer would bring the Saturn pin style back...
Off the top of my head, back when MOTHER was first released there was a lottery contest advertised in one of the MOTHER Encyclopedias, as well as a strategy guide or two. Those who wanted to enter could send in the form/card included in each book. The prize was one of two hundred Franklin Badges. Its unknown how many of those badges exist today, but one of them is owned by Fangamer's Lindsey Nelson! Seen here: ua-cam.com/video/JDu4LEI2tMk/v-deo.html At least, I think she works for Fangamer. I thought I saw her at Camp Fangamer when I visited. These badges are noted for their aged yellow backgrounds (from the time that's passed since then), and its opaque red text, compared to the MOTHER 3 Deluxe Box Set's transparent, ruby red text. More info can be found in the Starmen.net Merchandise section.
Man... It would be cool to write a letter and send a word of gratitude to Emile and Masae. It's nice to see that they are doing very well! After all, they both seem like very awesome people and they have really influenced my life for the better. I hope that one day it would be possible to see them in person or to write a heartfelt letter to them. I would love that very much! ^^
I collect records! I love getting limited editions of my favorite albums because they always come with cool stuff like posters and whatever. I have a nice set up in my room and can listen to them whenever I wanna!
Holy cow, between that collection (and all of the other gaming art and memorabilia everywhere) and Pippy, Emile's house is definitely #lifegoals. Thanks for showing it off!
I have seen many cute animals do cute things, but Pippy getting up on her hind legs to get that treat is hands down one of the cutest things I have ever seen a cute animal do.
To answer the end-of-vlog question, I'm getting into the habit of collecting CDs, because I've grown an affinity for music in the past few years and like being able to tangibly own something, yet have a distaste for vinyl and cassettes due to the mediums wearing out the more you play them regardless of equipment. Right now I have about 35 different CDs in my collection from a variety of artists and am looking forward to getting more, though things are a bit slow at their current rate since I don't have a job (despite being 20 already) and have to rely on my parents to buy albums that are on my backlog.
I remember being so surprised that Itoi was behind Hobonichi. I actually got the Weeks planner for Mother 2 to use for 2019, and after watching Emile’s play through, I’m very excited!
I have a collection for Eternal Champions. So far I have all four games (the Genesis and Sega CD plus both spin-offs), the strategy guide, a poster, a tote bag with the first game’s title screen, and both game books. I do have to say that Emile’s Earthbound shrine blows my collection out of the water.
I love Earthbound and I'm glad Chugga got me into the Mother series. Earthbound is now my favorite game of all-time but man I'm a little jealous that he has a collection that cool lol
I used to collect fairy figurines, but it's been a while since I had my own place and somewhere to display them so the collection has been on hold for a while. Actually, I bought most of them from that one really awesome shop at the Boardwalk at Myrtle Beach! Y'all should check it out sometime if you haven't.
To answer the question at the end, it's still very small but I'm in the process of compiling a Colress collection. He's my favorite character not only from Pokemon but of all time! He has a following but isn't extremely popular, which unfortunately leads him to not have much merchandise. Because of that, I have no choice but to have the collection be mostly unofficial stuff. So far I have the holographic full art Colress card from the Black and White Plasma Storm pack in mint condition, which was the only physical instance of an official product I could dig up, a custom made figurine out of clay that I commissioned an artist on Etsy for, and a couple of drawings made by myself. So the plan until more official stuff comes out, if any, is to pretty much keep paying artists to make figures and art prints and compile them. It's a tedious process but on the bright side I know for a fact that most pieces of the collection will be one of a kind.
Seeing Emile's layout of MOTHER/EarthBound merch is comparable to how I had displayed a lot of my Garfield merch when I was a kid. I really wish I had more room to display it now... Oh well... maybe someday. But I also collect various merch from other stuff that I love. I have 3 different sonic screwdrivers from "Doctor Who", for instance. Comes in handy for cosplay, that's for sure. I also have a resin model kit of a Pulse Pistol from "Farscape", which cost me $35 at a con in Philadelphia that I attended this past April. Haven't gotten around to assembling it, but I hope I will soon because I love that I now have a Pulse Pistol, even though I'm not really one to collect weapon props. I've also gotten quite a collection of photo ops and autographs from the various cons I've attended over the last couple of years. Not counting video games, that's basically it in terms of my collections of stuff.
Kinda old but I still wanna answer the question. I collect historical items, particularly maps, globes, and atlases. I currently have a globe from 1939, an atlas from 1936, 1986, and 2001, a map of Magellan's travels, Lewis and Clark's travels, major battles of the Revolution and Civil War, as well as coins from France, Britain (shortly before and after they switched to the newest pound system), West Germany, Denmark, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and some old US and Canadian coins. Long story short I just love history and I especially love when I come across items that come from the time periods that I could previously only read about.
I swear, if a thief gets into Emiles house, they are going to be very confused and not sure if they should steal anything from the display. Because on one hand it’s a very nice setup and it seems important, on the other hand it is a bunch of weird little man-head plushies on legs and plastic toys xD
SmilingSas lol thanks for the laughs.
And the best part is that the thief picks up the consoles when that shelf is worth 10X more
If a theif finds his or her way into Emile's house, and takes ANYTHING in this display, I will find them.
I can imagine Emile waking up to the thief, picking up a cracked bat and saying “I’ve been waiting for this day.”
Kortex This cracked me up so much, pun intended.
In a weird way, this vlog foreshadowed Emile's new LP.
I didn't realize that much Earthbound merchandise even exists.
We need more earthbound merchandise
Ness, Tracy and their mother plushies
Ninten, Minny, Mimmy and Carol Plushies
Ana and Paula Plushies
Most of it is only in japan
Theres a buncha fanmade stuff I bought a custom made final starman on etsy
He owns half the merchandise probably
In Japan…
Keep this in mind: Earthbound isn't even Emile's all-time favorite game. He's absolutely nuts for video games and it's so amazing!
Wesleyem3 im pretty sure he said it was
Nah it’s Xenoblade Chronicles
It was Earthbound before Xenoblade came out.
This is so fucking cool! I never had the chance to play earthbound yet. (I have original xl 3ds so I can’t get it.)
Wesleyem3 Oh god, imagine the shrine he'll be making to Xenoblade Chronicles. O.O
Masae just leaving the camera's field of vision at the end just killed me.
Same.
Wow...I've never seen a full-body eye roll before. Well done, Masae.
Me. too. Lmbo
Killed 250+ people too lol
Her SHEER DISAPPOINTMENT MADE ME DIE
That Earthbound Shrine has come a LONG way since the Chuggaa Lair Vlogs of January 2013.
Swift4Sweeper It sure has
8:56 Whoa, those look exactly like the Mario 64 paintings that I've been making this past year or so? I guess Chugga bought a couple from me and I had no idea lol! Very cool to see them displayed.
They were gifts somebody gave me!
Ah, cool! In that case, hope they made a great present :)
I'm the one who bought them! I love your work and I still remember your booth. You're a great artist!
Thank you so much!! Can't believe you remember me after all this time, it means so much. I'm a huge fan of you and your work too
Aaah! I'm flattered that you like my work too, thank you so much! I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing you at Conbravo as well! :)
"If you think about it, rabbit poop looks like dog food."
God-damnit Emile.
Nestle cereal also looks like rabbit poop.
Masae just noped right out of there.
better than saying it looks like cocoa puffs I guess lol
And Rabbits eat their own feces to regain nutrients, so...
I had 100% respect for Emile before and now I have so much respect that... I don't freaking know how I feel
Crobat312 it should still be 100%, but the percentages for anyone else should as a result be lowered instead. It's all about how things are in relation to others.
Cottidae Math has the big gay so it should be 200%
Crobat312 You're really feeling it.
Well, Emile must not like EarthBound much.
Yeah, dude. He didn't even have the Earthbound 64 Software Demo. If he's not devoted enough to become an employee of Nintendo, he ain't no true fan.
SweetWheatsy honestly I’m convinced you have to hate mother to be an employee at Nintendo. Just look at Reggie
Too real, man.
BlueNinten Where's his copy of MOTHER on his TI-84?
Wait... A sarcastic comment with no confusion and just more sarcasm? ...its a Christmas miracle.
"If it's weird Itoi probably made it" truer words have never been spoken
So, when's Emile going to install a complete Xenoblade display? Certainly it's only a matter of time.
thats what he can use his walk-in closet for!
yes.
It will happen when Emile is really feeling it
So when that happens, instead of Reyn time, it'll be Emile time?
It won't be too hard; he already has probably the biggest pjecealrwady sitting in a rifle case.
And to think, just one of those items is extremely, EXTREMELY rare. Well done dude dang
Caliduchey you mean the slot brothers card game?
Split timeline blessings. Chugga vlog and a current vlog, the Stephen gods have blessed us.
Emile's collection is amazing! And his house is definitely one I'm gonna take inspiration from when I have my own place!
Stephen and Emile being together is always surreal. I’ve spent thousands of hours of my life listening to the two of them.
Lol, I love how Masae walks off-screen after Chugga said that at the end of the vlog.
Emile: "You wouldn't know that they're from IKEA"
Actually, imma be honest here, I took one look at those shelves and thought, "That's from IKEA, isn't it?" And I don't even live anywhere near an IKEA. XD
Conorsawsome ikea has a look to them
I have the exact same one, so I knew right away lol
Conorsawsome as someone who displays things I should get some of them...
I got one for around $60CAD so they're definitely a good option. I'd recommend checking them out
Conorsawsome My dad worked at Ikea and he saw that and recognised the name. Not really but he recognised the shelves
I honestly love Emile. He’s so genuine.
I'm suprised no one mentioned this but I'm laughing so hard that they mentioned a tissue case for mother three.
It's like they knew that game slaps you in the face with the feels
That Earthbound collect looks so amazing! Won’t Ness and Lucas be impressed. 👏
*Plays earthbound once*
And Masae is done
Emile's passion never ceases to amaze me. He's awesome.
I believe i heard somewhere that Emile has the second biggest collection of Mother series merchandise in the world
Masae's level of done at the end killed me
Austin Blackburn so much done
I swear, Emile’s life is like a goddamn Sitcom.
Similar to Jonny Harris from CBC Still Standing
I am honestly pretty envious. 😅 Mother is my all time favorite series and my collection consists of the EarthBound cartridge, pins, shirts and amiibos.
The more I learn about Emile the more I love him. He seems like such a great guy who's fun to be around.
I really love how Chuggaa seems to have grown more comfortable being seen in person as time has gone on. He used to be very awkward and uncomfortable (hell he still might be) on the vlog but now he seems more comfortable. It's always nice to see!
Awesome collection Mr Chuggaaconroy

11:09, i love that art of N behind Stephen.
Yesss I love it when you guys visit Emile and Masae
SuperHoppsZ28 _ Technically, Masae's also visiting Emile. :P
NoirCore they don't live together?
Psychedelic Bee Nope. They live nearby, but not in the same house. Masae only lives with her mother and her own pets, as she's stated on Twitter.
Where is the Steve shrine?
Where's the Calibrary Cuff shrine?
in Emile's heart.
i also love steve
R.I.P Steve
Steve was a trooper

Earthbound, the game and its series that Emile introduced me too, now I’m hoping to get the mother 3 fan translation. Despite it no being his favorite game I love it now, ALSO THE BEGINNING WAS HINAWAS SONG.... also giant mr. Saturn is god.
Emile's Earthbound collection makes me smile and makes me shed a tear.
Man, this collection makes me so jealous.
Emile's LPs for the mother series were the first ones I ever watched and mostly responsible for my love of the series, though I am nowhere near his level. Thank you for sharing this with us, it's really fun to see.
My day just got 10 times better.
Shameless plug, but I sell repro Franklin Badges on my eBay shop. I believe I sent a pair to you and Mal with a letter. If you see this, I'm curious to know what you thought of them!
Oh hey! They're featured in yesterday's mail video! Great timing: ua-cam.com/video/JP_BxEYWurE/v-deo.html

"when you really think about, rabbit poop looks like dog food."
classic chuggaa
this is why we love him
That display is really impressive!
I have to admit I only ever watch you when you're with Emile but everytime I do watch your vlogs it's a darn pleasure
Wow. Emile put this collection together a year ago today, and I’m only seeing it now. It is really awesome.
Count on Emile to say something quirky. Also, I so want a bunny/rabbit one day because Pippy is just so adorable.
I love the vlogs and have been watching for years but CHUGGAVlogs will always hold a special place in my heart
Emile’s collection is freaking amazing!!!!
Finally managed to catch up on both timelines of the vlogs, its a good feeling
That Mother collection was so great I just had to comment. Beautiful.
I love it when chugga does something related to earthbound.
I could see this be something like a temporary exhibit for a place like the National Video Game Museum in Dallas.
I love how Stephen is still keeping the tradition of having the first meal at Applebee's whenever he visits Emile.
It used to be bdubs
I collect records! I love getting limited editions of my favorite albums because they always come with cool stuff like posters and whatever. I have a nice set up in my room and can listen to them whenever I wanna!
this made me really happy
I dream to have a complete Mother series display. Emile is a legend.
How could he hate Earthbound so much?
snow man I know! I can't believe he could burn a Worthless Protoplasm! RUDE!
This two timeline thing is real great, I’ve been missing daily Stephen vlog. But also it’s kinda exciting to see things like this!
Holy cow, between that collection (and all of the other gaming art and memorabilia everywhere) and Pippy, Emile's house is definitely #lifegoals. Thanks for showing it off!
I can't get over how poofy Pippy is. She's a big fluff ball of a bunny and is adorable regardless of it.
I collect photos of train stations I make... all of them in my country.
This is much more impressive. Holy crap.
Thomas Joosten wait you make train stations?
Ah, the good old Reddit switcharoo.
I am lost now...
I make the photos
So you collect photos of train stations that you take.
Oh my gosh Pipi! *squeals happily*
Also hi past Masea and Chugga, I love you both too of course... Always happy to see you guys on the vlog :)
This makes me extremely happy, and extremely envious at the same time.
That is an amazing collection. I really love the dedication to one franchise, even the rarer hard to find items
EarthBound is amazing
And this is where Chugga's wacky observation came from. Masae can't even with you, dude.
That intro trip montage at the beginning was amazing, especially with the music that you used, good stuff, Stephen!
I have seen many cute animals do cute things, but Pippy getting up on her hind legs to get that treat is hands down one of the cutest things I have ever seen a cute animal do.
Okay, but that was the single most glorious Earthbound collection I have ever seen!
He needs a Mother FamiCom, Earthbound SNES and Mother GBA (or SP) to go with his Mother NES.
I remember being so surprised that Itoi was behind Hobonichi. I actually got the Weeks planner for Mother 2 to use for 2019, and after watching Emile’s play through, I’m very excited!
Emile is such a precious man.
Wow Emile got really fit. Good for him. He always mentions he was working out and etc in let's play, but I haven't seen him in awhile.
Emile's always a joy to see on the channel.
I love mal’s reaction to where Stephen says hi guys
I love Earthbound and I'm glad Chugga got me into the Mother series. Earthbound is now my favorite game of all-time but man I'm a little jealous that he has a collection that cool lol
I’m a earthbound fan because of chugga and even though I haven’t completed it (yet) I plan to soon once I get it again
I’m a fan of many things, but I have never gone this big for a thing I liked. God Damn Emile.
Been waiting for this!! Love seeing you guys hang out!
Riding the line thinly between “collection” and “shrine” Chugga...
Such a beautiful collection.
That collection of Earthbound / Mother merchandise is absolutely incredible! I would pay for a ticket to see those in person. 😁
Emile is a national treasure of youtube
I used to collect fairy figurines, but it's been a while since I had my own place and somewhere to display them so the collection has been on hold for a while. Actually, I bought most of them from that one really awesome shop at the Boardwalk at Myrtle Beach! Y'all should check it out sometime if you haven't.
THESE EPISODES ARE ALWAYS THE BEST ONES.
Emile's wonderful words of wisdom XD
Finally a new video to add to my Stevenvolg Chuggaaconroy playlist!

love chuggaa vlogs, thats why i started watching stephenvlog many moons ago
That Pokémon black & white painting looks great
