  • Finally had time to fully assemble the first part of the gym. The tricky part was finding time to do so and also positioning things in a way where it would leave enough room for wave 2 of equipment!

I ordered a second top crossmember in white to put on the front of my RM3 like yours and was searching for an image of your rack to take another peek at how it looked, and this video came up. I'm glad I did this search because I haven't built my rack yet and it was nice to see how you built it time lapse.
I have to say having watched so many of your videos I'm blown away at the transformation from then until now both in your basement as well as your fitness. You are an absolute beast 🦁 keep up the awesome work.
And on a final note I have to make a comment on how much more professional and confident you are in your SPEAKING and STORYTELLING abilities. 🎙️

Yeah right now I’m trying to pick one “power” bar to get. I have the rep fitness gladiator bearing bar for cleans. Stuck between the Texas starting strength and all American bars, rogue Ohio power bar with e-coat and my budget pick of bells of steel power bar (maybe the new Cerokote version).Never had an aggressive knurl bar so I was worried about getting the original Texas power bar.

Brandon Campbell Diamond I saw that clip. I imagine you are finally DONE moving with a new custom home? Moving sucks, is laborious, and creates instability. So this White RM-3 will be THEE RACK you keep for decades to come. Eh? I own my 1,850 sq.ft. San Francisco home and CANNOT wait to get my aforementioned RML-390C in after Rogue’s Matte Black November sale. I’ve decided I will also buy ONE Eleiko Performance Weightlifting 20kg Bar, four colored kg pairs of Eleiko Sport Training Discs, and just 5 pricey sets of Eleiko’s Evo. Rotating dumbbells. Hi Brandon. Just curious, what is the height of your RM3, 90,100, or 108 inch? I want to do standing presses inside the rack. The 100 inch height is ideal but the 90 inch would work if I bolted it to 2x6 boards to give it an extra 1.5 inch height. I believe the 90 inch would be easier to sell if I want something else. The market for a 100 inch may be quite small.

I’m asking because I’m moving in a few months and I want to setup the rack but just not sure if its worth it just to take it down in two months before I move, what is your opinion, its a new rack and of course I want to use it, just seems like an unnecessary pain and I can workout with what I’ve got right now (basic squat stand). What would you do?

In regards to the Rogue deadlift platform you were building in this video, does it come with the paddings and plywood or is it only the frame?

    • @BasementBrandon

The wood in this is one that I bought. I made a video a few years back on why you would add this and Rogue has since offered them for sale as well. The mats inside also are purchased separately, but you could buy your own stall mats locally and save a lot of $.

Hey, Brandon. My RM-3 has been trickling in piecemeal. Rogue isn't selling the half rack feet as an add-on right now. How stable do you think the rack would be without them? Haha it gets a bit easier every time. I found putting the bolts in flush to the inside of the rack helps, that way when you get the namplate up you just push them through.
