- This is my second year running cameras and let me tell you its not easy! On this day I did something that I've wanted to do for a long time! Self film a bow kill! I'm pumped to continue on with this journey of bringing my encounters in the outdoors to others interested in watching! Enjoy!
Pin high would make you miss low. While we never want to have to shoot a deer twice with an arrow, sometimes it happens. I would be more interested in seeing the arrow trajectory in slow motion to see if you maybe nicked a tiny limb. Either way your in the board and freezer is starting to fill. Congratulations
Yea I saw the sight moved and thought that must of been the issue, but yes pin high would of made me shoot a bit lower duh lol, so I obviously screwed up the shot, thanks for watching!

Pin higher makes you arrow hit lower, When shooting downhill like that and out of a stand I've found I have to aim low especially on severe angles. Make sure you bend at the waist too, hard to tell but might have dropped your front arm. congrats on the doe, ive got three down now buck hunting
Yea I realized that after video lol, I kinda leaned out a little too, not sure first shot on a deer with bow in couple years, gotta shake off the cobweb’s I guess, thanks for watching

Raising the pin will make the shot go low, not high. Nice video....
I agree, would not make it hit high. In any case, she's dead, stuff happens, own it and move on. Not the worst deer hunting video I've ever seen either.

it happens to the best of em, but dont try making excuses for your shit shot. own it, learn from it and keep on making improvements. saying your pin was set high should have put the arrow low, thats a bs excuse.
You are right! Its basic bow sight 101. Follow your shot. I guess i just saw the sight moved and immediately thought that was the reason. Must of just been a bad shot, that sucks i better go get some practice in. Thanks for the call out! Sometimes we need those.
