LIGHTING DOESN'T HAVE TO BE NATURALISTIC AND SEEING THAT FACT EMBRACED IN SUCH MAINSTREAM COMMERCIAL TELEVISION GIVES ME HOPE ARTISTIC APPLICATION TO FILM ISNT DEAD
I immediately recognised the piece Libertango Strings Version that the Doctor and Rogue danced to. It fits perfectly. I love Libertango ever since I played it in a string orchestra concert coincidentally in BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff.
@@marisolfernandezseoane2364thank you, im officially stupid, i was wondering why it sounded so familiar but I literally played it a month ago with the orchestra I play in 💀
relax, its his role, its supposed to be the Whovian version of Han Solo but clearly the imagery is Captain Jack + River Song. Rogue is a bounty hunter out for money with a singular mindset and instead he finds himself facing an awe-inspiring Time Lord that he's inexplicably attracted to. thats two sides of the brain clashing on what to do. also Jonathan Groff wouldnt win a Tony award if something as trivial as jetlag would affect his performance lolz 😉
How many times have you rewatched this scene?
Me: Yes.
there's other scenes??
when I found out that Rogue was into D&D.
All of them!
I love the music in this scene so much 🥰
A beautiful scene between The Doctor and Rogue. Rogue making The Doctor quite speechless with his declaration of love. Tears!
the fact that we get THIS a year after Good Omens 2 did something similar?!?

(If nobody asked..Both the Male and Female Versions of the Doctor has a huge bisexual record, despite it is intergalactic.)🤔
😂 nobody asked

This episode would be perfect for cosplayers and D&D players. All of this is fit for them
The vibes of this dance really reminded me of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's dance from Pride and Prejudice!!!
Johnathan can do so much with his eyes.
Awwww the love is so strong 😍
Brilliant one BBC love it
Everytime something British becomes popular, and american pops up in it.
🎵Moi, je suis tango tango 🎵
Does anyone know the name of the song?
libertango
I know this song, but I can't for the life of me remember its name. Anyone able to help me out?
I’m having the same problem 😂 the only reason im looking through the UA-cam videos of this scene

It sounded familiar to me because I was hearing Grace Jones - I've seen that face before 😄
It's Piazzolla's Libertango... and I'm the violinist on the Dr Who soundtrack for this scene ;)
Imagine John Barrowman in this episode. Not a Jack.
No offence but I think Jonathan got jet lagged from flying to the UK for this role. His acting isn’t often this wooden 😅
I mean his character is supposed to be more awkward and out of his depth when it comes to improv.
