I am very very thankful to you Sir by you only I have installed parafoam successfully earlier I was getting error. Your video are very much helpful Please post more and more research and new simulation videos it will be very helpful for us
Hi Divyesh ! Thanks for the tutorials... they are really helpful! I get this error at 13.09 in the video. It pops up with the error : cp ~r :No such file or directory Can you please help?? Thanks in advance.
You can watch my meshing playlist, wherein i focused only on mesh. You will see how to modify your mesh if it is not upto your expectation without solving it.
1. You can use "snappyHexMesh" utility for custom CAD model import and meshing. 2. In tutorial no. 3 (elbow), i had explained this function. Or you can search "Mesh conversion" in user guide, there are more commands available.
Hello sir, as shown in the video, the directories which you open get highlighted in blue e.g. ~/OpenFOAM/ddfluids-v2012/run/cavity: this is in blue color on your screen. But in my case, I am always in my main directory. and when I go in the cavity directory, the sequence of derectories is not visible on left side. Directly the cavity folder is visible in blue. e.g. (RIGHT POINTING ARROW) cavity: thats it. I cant run the blockMesh nor the isofoam.
sir, u can use tree command for directory hierarchy if u use ubuntu directly instead of linux in windows most of the things will get simplified what topics do I need to study for this
Not everyone is using linux and dont want to switch to linux. But a linux user can definately learn from this. So I think this is the best option. But thanks for your suggestions. Will shoot some tutorials on ubuntu too.
Hello sir. In the first tutorial when I am trying to open the dummy folder with Paraview it is showing that " The code execution cannot proceed because msmpi.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem " . So I am not able to view my simulation in Paravview. Please help
I hope you have installed OpenFOAM. After installing WSL there is part 2 video for OpenFOAM installation. If you have installed it, the command is "cd $FOAM_RUN". Let me know if there is any issue after these checks.

Thank you sir....Best you tube channels for beginners of openFOAM...great work

Thank You very much for the interesting Tutorial, really appreciate your work.
Wonderful tutorial...
amazing tutorial....:D
Please make tutorial for scouring

Hi, try this (is a - instead of a ~)
cp -r $FOAM_TUTORIALS/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity/cavity .
@@javieramado6839 Hey Javier,
Yeah it worked mate....Thanks a lot!
When I type the notepad.exe command, it says that the command is not found. Please help.
Hello Divyesh
Can you please tell how to view the Mesh in Paraview before running the solver ?
You can watch my meshing playlist, wherein i focused only on mesh. You will see how to modify your mesh if it is not upto your expectation without solving it.
Can you tell us ,
1. How to import solidworks geometry in openfoam?
2. How to import Ansys mesh file in openfoam
1. You can use "snappyHexMesh" utility for custom CAD model import and meshing.
2. In tutorial no. 3 (elbow), i had explained this function. Or you can search "Mesh conversion" in user guide, there are more commands available.

That could be because of dynamic nature of addressbar in zshrc. It hides the address for our convenience.
Sir My question is which type of Schemes of finite volume like Upwind scheme or Quick scheme you have used in this simulation

how to write polymesh
can the same code/model develop in OpenFOAM version 4.0 run in the latest versions just like Openfoam version 8.0 without major changes?
Yes
I was running OpenFoam on Windows 10 in Ubuntu terminal...the $FOAM_RUN doesn't seem to be working for me...any ideas why?
