This place looks really nice! So many cool shops and restaurants! And the golf cart option is pretty amazing. I also love all the sculptures! Virginia is unexplored territory for us and now we have somewhere to add to our list!
If you’re ever up VA way, let us know! We can recommend so many Virginian destinations - and we still have several on our list, too! 😜 Cape Charles was pretty great though, so peaceful and quaint. At our age I can’t hate the fact that the entire town goes to sleep at 9pm, either 😂
We love small towns like that soooo much. So much art, food and fun to be had! Gordo's Tacos caught my eyes 👀 and Brown Dog Ice cream too! Thanks for bringing us along! We have yet to be to Assateague Island! We really want to see the wild horses. Been meaning to go, we usually go to Rehoboth Beach, Fenwick Island and Cape Henlopen! We have past by Charles! It's right before the tunnel on the way back from Busch Gardens. Now we know that there's a place we can stop by for yummy ice cream!
The family members that we were visiting in Cape Charles were actually previous residents of Chincoteague Island, so we have been to Assateague maaaany times - seen the ponies swim, too! 🐴 Cape Charles has a different, less touristy vibe, but clearly there’s still plenty to see and do too! 😁 Definitely worth a visit! Brown dog was amazing….
