We have a trip down to Cape Charles scheduled for later this year. Can't wait for some Chesapeake style R&R! Now we have a bit of old time history to go along with us. Thank you for putting this wonderful video together!

Wondeful! A timless historical recollection of a true Eastern Shore Gem. One, magnificently narrated.

Thank you so very much. I hesitated about narrating it myself, but wanted to get it out there.

My grandparents and mom were from Cape Charles. Fond memories there as a child. They are buried in the cemetery there.

Timeless, Charming Town. I remember visiting relatives in Cape Charles in the summertime. It was a fabulous time, I will always cherish. My dad and his beautiful family were born and raised here and told us many fascinating stories about life in Cape Charles, Virginia!

When you felt like going to a big city, here it is Cape Charles, Va. A few stores close together , you might see a class mate on the street , oh no it's not a road here in Cape Charles it's the streets , well I lived up town , going north to Eastville and then another mile north to Old Town , not bad living I felt free most of the time , and lived in our own home , family is dying out these days 2021, but not a bad place to be from and the beer a sodas was always cold, good day folks.
