Here are a few points I just remembered I should have mentioned in the video. - You can have up to 4 commanders active per island. - When you assign a class to your commanders, only the units will have a set class, not the Commander. The Commander will continue to use a sword despite having a specific class assigned. This can be helpful when caught off-guard with your archers and pikes, as the Commander will engage in melee combat to defend their squads. - War Horn can be used on any unaffected house; this means that it won't work if other squads are replenishing inside, if it is under attack or if it has been destroyed. There will be 2 more videos after this one, covering the enemies and how to counter them, and a final guide with some extra tips & tricks! Be sure to check them out!
Another things to be consider is that your commander cannot be killed as long as his troops still alive. 1 more is the fact that each commander comes with different type of head armor, i posted it on the Bad North fandom wiki a long time ago.
I thought the same, with the fearless commander the units would be more eager to take on the enemies instead of fiddling around getting knocked on their asses.
The Fearless trait Also makes it so that troops will always charge at the enemy no matter how strong or weak they are because some troops tend to keep their distance at enemies especially brutes I don't know if it's true cause i actually found this on a YT comment of the same game where they rank traits
For the mobile version, there are 2 additiobal slots for unit class... its sad that there are no other classes like Crossbowmen or Knights/Man-at-ams/Sergeants

You need to obtain them by playing through the game several times until you find the banners with the white border around them when saving commanders from their home islands.
It comes with the Jotunn Edition - Deluxe Content (DLC) . It is only cosmetic and does not enhance the gameplay in anyway. It was made as a pack to support the developers.

This is mostly speculation, but in my experience fearless commander units have less "hesitation" behavior when fighting brutes

I found the best overall strategy is 2 infantry, one pike, and an archer. I found it is the best all rounder.
I love islands, and Vikings, so I love this game. I recently started playing seriously and I must say I love the Pikemen. ^^

What do you mean? If you mean skins I probably seen the knight skin in many infantry and some WW1 looking helmet on archers

Could you used fearless to let the group retrat and the commander go crazy while hes invincible still?
It has no functional use. The commander can't flee the battle, and the units follow its commander.
